Busy Weekend. I was running a yard sale to get rid of a bunch of stuff in our basement that we don't use nor while we ever use! The bonus part was that we made about $200 dollars and we are putting it toward Disney spending money!

Capt Jack had an Iced Tea stand and made $7 haha! He was quite the sales man!

We also went to see Toy Story 3. It was actually really good and the ending almost made me tear up lol!

I also had a Pep band GTG for the Riders vs stamps game Our team lost 20 to 40 it was our first loss this season but the Stamps are gonna hurt when they come to our house!

And now it is Sunday. Time to get caught up on laundry and housework!

Red Queen Takes on....American Idol



Okay so my mom Red Queen is a Karaoke Diva! The downside is that Donald and I do not enjoy her music! She sings well but she sing country music twangy I lost my dog and my wife left me boo hoo stuff. I get that Country music is a huge music intustry and I respect it but I can not tollerate most of it. I do have some that I can tolerate and that would be the Rascal Flats, Dixie Chicks and Garth Brooks. I HATE Lady anthill (sorry don't know the real name) and the band that sings the song that has the phrase "goin down to Wally World" and the Zac brass band(again unsure just can't stand the music lol! and anything old and twangy and depressing I gotta tear in my beer type crap! When I am with my mom she tortures me with this music and there have been a few songs she has tainted me with by calling out my name in the song while she is singing on stage, and every time I hear those songs my ears bleed!

That said my mom did her own research and found out about the American Idol stage at Disney's Hollywood Studios Which I was going to keep on the down low as to not to be embarrassed any more then she has already done. And has repeatedly mentioned how she really wants to do this!

And this Brings us to Sept 23rd

We plan on getting to Rope drop WE must get on TSM! We will grab some breaky at Pop and then head on down to the park

Our top 5 must do things are

1. Toy Story Mania
2. Tower of Terror
3. Rock n Roller Coaster
4. Toy Toy Story Mania
5. Jedi Training

Red Queen (White Queen will gladly tag along with Red Queen)

So the plan is to all ride Toy Story Mania then tower of terror (Red Queen requested to sit with Capt Jack She is not thriller ride kind of grandma but really want to experience this through his eyes as it will be his first time on a "scary ride") then separate so Red queen can experience American Idol while we ride our favorites and take the kids to Jedi Training and the Animation Studio

We will meet back up for lunch at Sci Fi at 11:05 and then we will meet again at Supper at 50's Prime time Cafe (mmm Pot Roast) @ 4:35

If Red and White queen are done with the AI experience then they will join us and we will go from there. If we have done everything we set out to do we will looki into TSM again or what ever tickles our fancy before heading over to Fantasmic

Once we are back at the resort we will likely head to our resort pool for a quick dip before bed.

Hey Readers! I just thought I would let you know I haven't forgetten about you! I will be hopfully updating soon. I have had lots of company this week, a new puppy, and a lot of pep band duties/appearances/parades/game. Its been crazy!!!

I hope to get a break soon to update. maybe even tonight...but laundry need to be caught up!

Im back! Red Queen has left for home and I now have a few spare moments!

These last 2 weeks has been super BUSY. Pep band has occupied a lot of my time with a few appearances and a game.

You can see my hand, with the ring and my horn here lol!

We had Red Queen (my mom) and my Step Dad over for 2 weeks. We also had a friend from out of town over for a few days. I started my new job, been back to school shopping and The biggest time consumer is...

We both had a blast and I got a bad sunburn lol!

Now that you are all caught up on what has been keeping me away (sorry no pics or Red Queens visit I just kept forgetting my camera!)

[/I bet your thinking - ***!?! They haven't even made it to the Magic Kingdom yet! Harlie is a crazy Lady!

Well you have me pegged - The original plan was to go to the Not so Scary Halloween party on Sept 21, and though we have not fully ruled it out we are thinking about not going due to the costume issue. Costumes up here are usually designed for cold trick or treating. I worry about my kids getting over heated and want them to be comfortable, and I thought of t-shirts but have no good original theme ideas lol!

Top 5 things to do at Epcot today:
1. Kim Possible Mission
2. World Showcase
3. Living with the land...again we love this ride or whatever you call it lol!
4. Illuminations @ 9pm
and there is no more

ADRs for today:

I really want DD to experience the Pick a pearl at the Japan Pavillion and spend more time exploring the different countries. When DH and I were there last year I don't think we spent a lot of time exploring and we missed so much. I believe we missed so much because we got park hoppers . This time we decided No park Hoppers and we are very happy with that decision!

Hi, I'm enjoying your PTR! I love reading someone's PTR that is going to be in WDW the same time that we are. We're actually going to be in the same parks on two days - on the 21st & 22nd!!!

And, it's so cool that you have a son & daughter that are 10 like me!
You are going to have to post more family pics so if I recognize you, then I can wave if we pass! Your younger son is adorable!

I completely understand your frustration with always having to take up pants in the waist. I have always had the same problem. To get the pants to fit over my thighs, it is then is too big in the waist. I cannot sew, but my mom can & she always had to fix my clothes. My daughter is shaped the same way. I only buy her pants/shorts that have the elastic on the inside that you can adjust. Why can they not put those on adult clothes!?!! I think they are the best invention!

I know I too wish they made pants for adults with the elastics. I bought some more shorts, but these ones I will have to jimmy up. I decided to take the string from the legs sew them together and add it to the waist to tie the gap in the shorts. I will post pics of how it turned out lol!

This will be a long awaited event. After being at disney for 5 days and have 4 days worth of parks under our belt, we will finally make it to Magic Kingdom@(that is if we don't do the Halloween party lol)

I was going to order a custom cake for Capt Jack but DH put it to me like this Capt Jack gets a party at home with his friends and a cake I make or a cake at WDW custom and $$$ when we are already on the Duluxe dining.

Capt Jack is getting a party. I am planning it at a dino bouncer place. He will love it. We are having it the weekend before we leave on Sunday afternoon lol! That weekend will be insanely busy, but I will go more into those details later!

I hope my "Wee man" will have a memorable birthday! He sure has come a long way!

He was about 6 lbs He was big! I can't imagine birthing him full term He was in the nicu about a month he had trouble breathing, this was already after being injected with steriods to help mature his lungs weeks before I had him. We had problems with him getting really sick and his lungs not keeping up until he was four. He had to have surgery at six months to remove his "little hood" because he had problems with infections. He had tubes in his ears at age 3. Now he has mild allergies and no asthma! And now he is our healthiest child lol!

Sept 27th - It is a bittersweet day and we are spending it at DHS

We are going to go around and hit up our Favorites. Making Rope drop for the TSM dash!

So we still have one last ADR It is Breaky at Boma. I am debating Cancelling it and just getting breaky at Everything Pop.

Once Breakfast is done we will check out and head to the Holiday Inn Express.

I was having issues with how to get 7 of ust from WDW to the HIE, but thanks to the wonderful world of disboards I found through a fellow Sept tripper the "company that must not be named" to get us to/from HIE and the Airport for the trip home!

I just have to book them still haha!

My plan is once I am finished the daily Itinerary sharing I will list out my timeline between now and Vacation time. it has dawned on my very recently that I am headed into a very busy month with Pep Band games/Parades/appearances/ fundraising and grey cup plus add to that my Concert band starting in Sept, the kids starting school in three weeks, more company, a trip "Saskatchamatoon" <-- for those that have seen the Movie Grown Ups with Adam Sandler I love listening to folks trying to pronounce my Provinces name it is very entertaining to me lol!

Once we have checked into HIE we will take off for WWOHP

I want a Butterbeer and Pumpkin Juice and a wand...yes I am an 8 year old at heart lol!

I know my kids will want a wand and I really hope at least one of them will experience the wand choosing ceremony thingy lol!

We want to have supper at Bubba Gump Shrimp - my fave there is the burbon mahi mahi (insert drool icon here)

I don't want to leave Florida to head home for another PrairieWinter But tomorrow is when that will happen!

We have no ADR's but we want to check out Mel's Diner for lunch and DH wants to try the Golden Corral for Supper

Once we get back we will start to pack up.

On the 30th our Flights leave at 3ish so we will hae some time to tour City walk before we leave and pack up and head to the Airport.

Red queen leaves 20minuste before we do.

We will get into Minneapolis at about 7:30ish we are staying at the Ramada again. The next day we have a 13 hour drive with a stop at an outlet or two.

DH wanted to stay an extra night in Minneapolis but I have to be back for Pep band Duties on the Saturday with a game. We will be back to work on Monday and then I can start my Trip report


I am hoping to run into some other Disers that are headed to the world in Sept I am getting excited to go but hat thinking about leaving again for home lol!
