My door bell rang at 6:30, again at 7:05, and once more at 7:48. That's it so far. My DD11 went to trick or treat with her friend in another neighborhood altogether. Where are all the children? I see them at the school bus stops in the morning.

Do we live in the same neighborhood?? I'm bummed. I love seeing the little ones come around but we only had about 3 of those early, now we are just getting the teens without costumes. Two of the boys didn't even have a bag or anything, guess they're just eating as they go along.
I don't care if they're teens, in costume or not, I just want to get rid of this candy! Houses here are spread pretty far apart, I guess they've all migrated to a neighborhood where they can get more bang for their buck.

We had zero trick or treaters tonight. Or course it's 34 degrees, the wind is blowing, and there are snow flurries.

I've probably handed out about 120 pieces so far. I'll leave the light on another 30 minutes, but most have already come.
It was cold and we here tonight.
We never get many TOTers because we are on a busy street traffic wise, but we TOT on the side streets and this year lots of houses did not turn their lights on. I'm beginning to think the neighborhood is turning into a lot of elderly people, whom I can understand if they don't want to give out candy. I think next year we might go to another neighborhood - maybe one of those complexes with the townhomes - lots of doors close together. It was cold and we here tonight.
