Hard to plan where to eat!

We've never done the dining plan with a table service meal before. We've always done quick service. I am having a hard time because my DH and I are way too wishy washy about which park we're doing and what day. Although I'm very excited to try some new restaurants, it's hard to plan so far out what time and where we want to eat on any given day. My friend thinks it's fun, but I'VE not had that much fun. Does anyone else have a hard time planning so far ahead?? I can't imagine doing it at the 6 month out mark!

What about planning some TS dinner or breakfast at your resort? You know you will be there in the morning and evening to catch a few meals.

For the parks, I usually look at a crowd calendar (like easy wdw or touring plans) and use it to pick some of my days at each park. Then I start looking for available ADR's for those days.

Are you going to have park hoppers? That can make your meals/ADRs more flexible since you can spend the morning in one park and the evening in another.

Hope that helps.

That's a good idea. We don't have park hoppers and we probably won't get them. We did it last year and we were pretty tired after going to two parks in one day. Thanks. :)

The resorts are good locations for meals for days that you don't quite know where you'll be. You'll have to leave a bit of travel time, but they're all easy to get to from any park, just hop a bus, monorail, boat, walking path, and you can get there from anywhere.

While some resorts (e.g. the Epcot ones and MK ones) tend to seem more suited to being at that park that day, they'll all work just fine. Just be sure to leave ~45-60 minutes on each side for travel (that's the downside of it). (60 is probably much more than you'll need, but better to be early than late :)).

we take a look at crowd calendar and then pick the days to go to which park and then do the dining. we either do character breakfast in the park and a counter at night or when ever and or we do a TS after we doen in the park for the day--usually. sometimes will go back to a park at night not often. we eat at a lot of other resorts like Yacshtsman steak house and captains grille and Kona's cafe and then DTD to Fultons we are all over the place
