I have the Unofficial Guide - and his process for getting the Cinderella's Royal Table ADR is a bit intimidating...

If I'm calling 180 days out from my first day of check-in - I should be able to get it fairly easily, right? We're going during value season... Do I really need to be up and calling before 7:00am?

Is Disney Meal Reservations open on Saturday?

Thanks...

 princess: :scared: :hourglass

It's not as hard as it used to be since there are more princess dining options now (Akershus in EPCOT and 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian).

But, it still can be tough...so if it's a must-do for you then I'd suggest doing what the Unofficial Guide recommends.

And yes, Disney reservations are open on Saturday. They are open every day from 7am - 10pm.

Have a great trip!!! :)

CRT isn't nearly as hard as it used to be as mentioned, but mostly because a lot of people don't consider it worth the 2 TS credits or its prices (of course having much less expensive alternatives help).

but if you're trying to get it as part of 180+10, it might seem that way. they release a very small percentage of tables for it per day. your best bet is 180 days exactly from the ADR

Thank you!

I think the prices are ridiculous for the food - but... I think it is well worth seeing my two little princesses meeting Cinderella and eating inside her castle...

I have tried for the last few trips to get CRT. My trip in March I was up at 7 AM on the 180th day and got it.

I wouldn't take a chance.

It was one of those things that been there done that not sure if I would do again. My daughter loved dinner at 1900 Park Fare much better. She got more one on one time with Cinderella. At the castle she just got a few seconds just enough time for a picture.

The food was just ok. No choice of what I wanted to eat. For the cost the best thing was the pictures.

My wife and I are going to eat there when we go this December, just because we wanted to eat in the castle :). Yea, the price is a little steep, but hey, it's one of those things that we wanted to do. I did call at the 180 day point (didnt know about the 180 +10 rule then) and got pretty much the time I wanted ( I mean within 20 minutes, so that counts).

For CRT, since it is smaller, if you want to do it, as stated, just call and get your ADR so you dont have to worry about it! :cool1: :thumbsup2

I called recently for late January and had no problem. I had my pick of times for breakfast. I tried to call at 180 of the first day of our trip and book CRT later that week and the CM said CRT can only be booked at 180 days from the date you want the reservation. I do not know if that is true or not but I had to call back two days later on the 180 mark to get CRT. I called at 7am and could pick my time. You should be fine if you wait until later in the morning to call but I would call on day 180 to be safe.

Good luck!

If you are flexible on the date and time within your trip, then call at a more reasonable AM time... but if you have a specific date and time that you must have, then call when they open- it's only sleep! :rotfl:

I hace a reservation for 4 at CRT on 8/30 at 6:40 PM. I am looking to trade this for 8/27, 8/29, 8/30 or 9/1 at either Kona, Concourse Steakhouse, Chef Mickeys or Spoodles around 7:00 PM. Let me know if anyone is interested.

Oh - I'll be up at 5:30 and ready on day 180... There are two days during my trip/tour plan we can work with - and I would do lunch if I had to...

This is one of the two MUST DOs for this trip. Hey, 5:30 isn't that early - I can get a Diet Coke, hang out here on the Dis... :surfweb: :surfweb: :surfweb:

Start calling at 6:58. Have your whole list of ADRs ready, and say them in order of how hard they are to get. (CRT 1st). If you are going to spend all the money you're going to spend on a Disney trip, why risk not getting exactly what you want, just for a few extra minutes of sleep!

For our trip 2 years ago I got up at 3:50 so I could start calling at 3:58 (6:58 eastern time)When I finally got through, breakfast was booked solid so we had to take lunch. It sounds like it's easier now but I would still call first thing in the morning if it's important to you.

I did exactly this, and according to my clock got in at 6:59A (I used the atomi clock on the net on my laptop). Also, I called DIRECTLY and bypassed the WDW travel, and did 407-WDW-DINE number. I think that made it much easier! AND we got the first of the day! What a way to start the day AND our trip! :) :) :) Mine also said it had to be 180 days from the day your resevations, NOT 180+10. CRT is apparently different than the rest of ADRS.

GOOD LUCK!

I doubt you'll have any problem booking CRT when you want, but knock yourself out if you want to. With 3 meals being served, high prices, and other princess meals available, that has smoothed out the demand issues.

We went in June and had no problem reserving 8:20 AM breakfast the first day of our trip - and I didn't make the ADR until 140 days out. I picked up the Unofficial Guide but didn't read that procedure until late one night. I got worried - couldn't tell DW or she and DD would be devastated. :scared1: Couldn't sleep. Got to work the next day and called and immediately got a choice of days and times. I was so overwhelmed I had to hang up and call again to get it reserved.

We also ate lunch at Akershus another day - more relaxed and better food IMHO.

Okay Flashscout - You seriously made me LOL! :lmao:

Quick, everyone - CRT better for Breakfast or Lunch? I was hoping for First Breakfast of the day - but now I'm thinking Lunch - then we can take a break after being in the park a few hours?

Thoughts?

We had no problems getting CRT for breakfast last Jan. and we were booking for 8 people! I think I called in late August and had a couple of choices for times. It was a nice experience for the 3 little princesses in our group, but this coming Jan. we're trying the Princess Breakfast in Norway instead.

You can book it 180+10. I did that today when I called. At first the CM told me, "No, you can't do it until the 180 day mark, but when I asked about the 180+10, he tried in the system and I was able to make it. We didn't get it for our last year Dec. trip, so I was really hoping to get it this time for February. I got lunch because the pre-plated breakfast did not appeal to us, and I got 12 PM, as requested. HTH!

I love CRT. I have eaten there 4 times, 3 for lunch (and each one on my birthday). It is now a tradition for me.

I just booked on Sunday for our Feb trip. I called at 180 + 10 and was able to make the reservation without a problem for the day and time that I wanted. Our twin princesses will be 5 then and I can't wait. Good luck with your res!!

It is not NEARLY as hard as it used to be! Good gracious, we used to have 4-5 people calling- all watching the correct time on computer so we would call on the second, and usually only one got through and off hold in time to get the reservation! I just called for my Jan 27 reservation - called at 7am and the cm had to turn on her computer. I thought- if this were a few years back- I'd be out of luck. Anyway, it was no problem- I got up b/c I wanted an early seating to get in the park early. We got 8:15 for a party of 7. So, if it is a must, I'd call at 7 am just to be sure.
Jenb- when are you going to CRT? I know our trip dates are the exact same!!
