Hard to Book 2br BWV in Late August?

I am a new member (SSR) and I'm already starting to plan my August 08 trip. My question is - I am thinking about trying to book a 2 bed SV BWV for Sun Aug 24 and Mon Aug 25/08. Any experience/opinions on how successful I might be if I book when my window opens in January? We were hoping for a BWV studio (S or P) for 5 nts in Apr 08 but ended up with a std AKV studio (which we're actually very happy about now!) so now I am curious if late August will be as difficult to book @ BW. Thanks for any insight you can share!

The dates you mention are during the last week before Labor Day, and we found it to be busy at WDW when we arrived over Labor Day weekend this year. Also, we didn't book our 1BR Boardwalk View until well past the 7-month mark (and we own points at BWV!) and got our request.

3 years ago we added on BWV points, and we wanted to go with a SV 2 bedroom BWV rather than the 2 SV studios that I had booked. In March, I was able to get the SV 2 bedroom for 3 nights during the next to the last week in August. I was pleased and surprised.

I think you should be able to book BWV 2 br at the 7 month window, however, not sure about standard view.
