I am not sure WHICH 3 days we are staying in August.....due to my husband possibly changing his job - he may have to take a long weekend as opposed to the full week.

Do you think I can book the whole week at a AAA rate and then just drop the days we are not going to be there? I am nervous that I will "lose" my rate. I know that when I went from 2 days to 3 days the rate did drop but I did not see a difference between staying 4 days or 3 days (whew - I hope I made that understandable!). We are staying 3 days.

No as long as you are staying your 3 days, you should be fine. The supersaver rate may even be lower.

I have actually done this to secure the AAA rate before. I booked a week knowing that we would only be staying four nights, but we were unsure of the travel dates at the time. Later, I dropped three nights from the reservation but still had the AAA nightly rate on the nights I wanted. I would book it this way to be safe; just pay attention to the cancellation policy.
