Hard Rock Hotel, Any savings to be had?

I want to book The Hard Rock Hotel for one night August 19th.
Best rate I am getting is the actual Universal site $254 plus tax is $285 dollars basic room for 4.
That's about £185
This is a treat for my 14 year old who is guitar mad.
I have checked the dis Universal resort site and can't see anything useful.
Also checked Expedia and Kayak.
Anybody got any suggestions to bring it down a little bit.

Thomas Cook, annoyingly they add £10 for a 14 year old in the room at £166 less 11% Quidco = £148

The longer you stay at Universal hotels the cheaper the rate, 7 nights would be £101/nt.

Thank you I will take a look.
We prefer to cater a bit more for ourselves so like a kitchen otherwise that rate for seven nights seems pretty good to me for what you are getting.

For some reason I would never have thought of checking a site like Thomas Cook for only a hotel! You learnt something every day.
