Hard rock FOTL procedures

We are returning to the hard rock after a two year break. I have haerd there are new procedures for front of the line access in the form of a lobby kiosk.and a picture ID. Is this correct or do we just use our room keys as usual

That is correct. You take your key to a kiosk and get a photo taken. From reports, it is quick and easy.

Sorry to thread-jack, OP, but I have a question to add. If you are visiting for multiple days, do you need to print out a pass for each day, or just once when you check in before you go to the parks?

I have read reports where people say these passes are a bit too flimsy. Do you think they will upgrade them to better quality?
Also a fair few people saying that TM do not even check the photo. Is this not defeating the purpose of these new passes? Not sure if Uni will tell TM that they have to start checking photo's. Could still be abused otherwise.

We were a group of 4 last week, one of the others held all the park tickets, I held the express passes. I would fan all 4 out when the TM scanned or tried to scan them. Only the photo on the top pass could be seen, no one asked to see them individually to check to see who was who.

The scanner they used beeped sometimes when they scanned the bar code, I don't know if it was the volume on the scanners were different or they just weren't working. Some TM's really tried to scan them some just went through the motions, I don't know if its really working they way it's intended to as of yet.

All in all though, gotta love them passes .
