hard rock cafe is there a live venue too,have you seen any groups?

the hard rock live venue is it still going it is mentioned in a old disney for dummies book i found,has anyone been there and what sort of acts play there,i know go on say it ROCK ONES i am interested as my wife and daughters visit our local rock venue quite often,

Yes, it's still there. I've seen some local bands there. Standing room only type venue.

Off the top of my head, David Lee Roth is playing August 4th, Chris Issac is playing in September. Mid-level acts mostly--up and coming young bands, and nostalga acts still making a living off hits from the 80s/90s. The "stadium" acts still go to the O-rena (or the new Ford Ampetheater outside Tampa).

They also do "classic albums live" where a band covers a 60s or 70s album track by track. Seems like that happens a couple times a month.

I've been to a few shows. Everyonce in a while you'll get a bigtime act from today to stopby.

August 1st is KoRn who are pretty mainstream.

I saw Nickelback, Sum 41, and A.F.I. there.
