Hard Rock All Access question

After booking our vacation package we learned of the HR AA and now are wondering how we can apply it to our stay. Has anyone joined and then applied after the vacation package has been purchased? I know it applies to room/hotel only and not the park tickets (etc).

Not sure it applies at all with a package. Doesn't hurt to ask when you check in though.
