Hard boiled eggs

How long are hard boiled good for? I want to dye eggs for Easter and was wondering how soon I can do it?

We usually dye the eggs on Saturday. They would probably be fine in the fridge but I am a bit paranoid about food spoiling.

I believe at 3 days they are still good we are doing ours on Friday

General information

Keep eggs in the carton and store in coldest part of refrigerator. Do not put them in the door.

Eggs will keep in the refrigerator for about 4 to 5 weeks. Hard-boiled eggs are good for 7 days as long as they've been refrigerated.

Don't eat Easter eggs after the hunt. They've probably been out of refrigeration long enough to encourage bacterial growth. Cook up some more for eating

I was actually wondering the same thing. Although we have taken to coloring eggs and eating them, and using plastic eggs for hunting.

Same with us, dyed eggs for looking, plastic for hunting. And no chocolate in the plastic eggs we had a really warm easter last year.
