Anyone staying at Harbor Lakes May 22 -29? Our family is very excited about our stay. The only thing I am worried about it that our stay begins Mormorial Day weekend. We have never been to Orlando on this holiday so I am kindda worried about the crowds. We want to do Disney 1 or 2 days and my teenage children want to do Universal. Im just not sure which days we should go.
We stayed overnight at Horizons last summer and loved it. Are there planned activites for teens? My children are 17 and 14 and hate to sit around with nothing to do. Also, we are hiring a photographer to take family pictures and my daughters senior pictures. Is there anywhere on the property to take good outdoor pics?

My family and I will be staying there for the 1st time from may 23-27. We cannot wait. Last year we stayed across the street at Cypress harbour (during the same time period). I know that CH had activities for people of all ages, so I am guessing that Harbor Lakes does as well. My kids are 3 and 1, and we WDW on Sunday and on Wednesday last year, and probably the same thin we will do this year. The crowds were not too bad, but keep in mind that we had 2 small kids, and we only stayed at MK and DHS for only part of the days (we left after the afternoon parades, so the kids could rest and go to the pools. I cannot help you out with the pic locations, but I am sure you will find some place special. Hope you have a good trip.

Disney might be crowded.

this is the crowd thing so far - you need to start looking a month before you leave.

buy 4 get 3 free - has worked wonderful for Disney.

disney had to close the park a couple of days last week and this week. (okay Palm and easter week - did not participate in the sale)

universal not sure - but I think during the week is less crowded than weekend

You can read my review:

but as for your questions, there are a couple of things for the teens to do but not a lot. Most activities are geared towards the smaller kids. My 16YO hung out at the pool mostly but they had some night activities for the older kids. It is a very picturesque resort and many places to get a nice photo. The dock next to the lake would be great.

I was just reading your review and read there is no marketplace, but one nearby? Where exactly is the one nearby? Thanks :) NM I see there is a Publix and a marketplace at a hotel across the way.

How far is this place from Universal?
