We are having a typical weekend. We're going shopping and out to lunch this afternoon. Tonight, we have a bday party for my dad at Carraba's. Mmmmmm! Tomorrow I need to grade the kids' projects and then hopefully relax by the afternoon.

How we spent our Saturday:

I slept in...he watched some movies like Lethal Weapon (not sure which one). We ate some chili that he made for lunch. We watched ice skating on NBC (man card in trouble ). After the skating ended at 6pm, we went out food shopping. Came home with MC Cafe food. Watched more skating. He made fresh spaghetti sauce for tomorrow. I did Wii Fit Plus for over 1 hour 15 minutes. I got on here and now he is doing some Wii Fit.

Sunday---We are doing some house chores, call MIL, Wii Fit, and watching Food network shows at night. I might do some trip plans/budget while he cooks his latest favorite dish---Chicken Marsala.


















Yep...real exciting weekend. I did leave some stuff out.

So how was everyone's weekend? Yesterday didn't go as well as I was hoping for me. I wasn't feeling well as a result of something I ate at lunch and that affected the dinner at Carrabas, a favorite restaurant of mine. I also wound up having a small attack later on that night, but I was able to control it.

I just got done grading the kids' book report projects. I am going to read and enjoy myself the rest of the day.

Hey Nikki - sorry lunch did not agree with you yesterday.

My Saturday started as a typical Saturday with all my morning errands (recycling, grocery shopping...) usually I clean late morning and early afternoon but somehow that got away from me yesterday. My 13 (well 13 on Wednesday) had an away basketball game and since her dad was out of town, I was the transportation. Made arrangements to meet one of my brothers for dinner afterwards. Had Thai food - can't get that around my house. Tried to get Ros to join us but she was too tired - next time Ros.

Today baked blueberry muffins this morning, did shopping at Walmart - how come no matter how organized I am I still end up with over $100 worth of stuff and it only fills 4 bags??

This afternoon I am finishing the cleaning I did not do yesterday and working on a project for work. That and playing on Facebook.

Maybe next weekend will have more down time.

Yummo! - I was surprised that both of my girls tried something new off the menu. They usually just get what they know Pad Thai - don't remember what they got but they both enjoyed it.

We have so few choices around here, we love it when we get out.
