To Shirley and Norm, and All my Dis-er Friends:

Thanksgiving is truly the most "American" of holidays. While other countries have their own independence day celebration, this one holiday is truly unique to this country.

We are all immigrants of one generation or another. We here on the boards are bound by our travelling experience.

It is people like you, Shirley and Norm, that make travelling so much fun. You are willing to help out strangers and ask nothing in return.

When we go to Key West next month, I know I will enjoy it all the more because of all the great stuff you sent me (and I know I won't be taken by the "T" shirt scam!)

As a little boy who moved to Ireland, I remember trying to explain to my teachers how come I was going to be missing two days of school at theend of November to stay home with my family and eat turkey (okay, it was a scrawny Irish chicken, but its the thought that counts).

Wherever you are, wherever you go, Be Safe and Have a Happy Thanksgiving.

And oh yeah, I get the Wishbone.
