Hey! Today had some pretty crappy weather. 3 out of the 4 GB Shows were cancelled, but they came down for meet and greets for at least two (didn't stay for the last one, if they had one. It was pouring, so I went to the RPH).

OMG...the RPH people are great! My parents had told them it was my 16th birthday when they checked in (I was already at the parks...maxing out on MIB...yes I did!!). At first I was grinning ear to ear because my room key said "16 years" instead of 15. BUT, when I had gotten to the room, it was room 1740. I opened the door to see an awesome view of the parks. Yes, b/c of my birthday, RPH gave us an extra nice view!!! Not only that, but in between the time my dad left the rom and I came in, they put in a basket full of many goodies...from candy to a mini backpack tote, Spongebob stuffed animal and a birthday card. I was NOT expecting that!!!! That was really nice of them.

Oh yeah! Remember how I said the GIO2 said something about my seat cushion yesterday? Well, GIO4 was here today! During the only show, when the GBs make their entrance, GIO4 runs up to me and looks all over. He then turns to me with a shocked and serious expression and said, "Where is your seat cushion?!?!" LOL! It was NOT in a joking way by his facial expression. Too funnny!!!

Yep. Had birthday cake (well, didn't eat any...but we did the whole blow out the candles thing...but we had to be quick because with 16 candles, we didn't want to set off the smoke detector!!!). Opened presents this evening also.

Whoa...a firework went off outside our window...it's after nine and the park (IOA) has been closed for 3 hours. How odd.

anyway, it was funny. I really liked a certain jacket at Universal Store, but it was expensive. Luckily with the APH discount I could get it for $51.08 including tax. Well, I didn't want to spend the money on it. I had noticed it on Saturday already, but wouldn't buy it. Well, today, because of the rain, I decided to buy it. My parents had left to get the room at RPH. We met at Hard Rock Cafe and I was wearing my new jacket. My mom said to me, "What are you wearing?!" Turns out my parents had bought the jacket for me, knowing I wouldn't spend over $50 for a jacket!! My parents returned mine and gave me $50, but of course I asked for the difference as well...the whole $1.08!

No idea what i'll do tomorrow for my actual birthday. We celebrated tonight because we check out of the hotel tomorrow morning. But, we're trying to figure it out. May just be seeing the Ghostbuster Shows like any normal trip, but hey, that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Hold it...why on earth is the Hulk rollercoaster running? Park has been closed for over 3 hours! I wonder what's going on over there!!

I guess someone rented out the Hulk for some reason. Someone had rented out the Ghostbuster stage for after hours for a wedding reception on Saturday. (and the Hulk is still going strong...lol)

When we were at RPR last December, there was a travel agents' convention and they had IOA rented out after hours.
