Happy St. Patrick's Day

Home all day cooking corned beef since 9:00 am with the NYC St. Patrick’s Day Parade on in the background.

Growing up my Irish mother would make it once a week. My stomach couldn’t handle that now!:shamrock:

We made green French toast. That's the extent of our celebration. :shamrock:
Anybody else celebrating today?

Yep. Wearing green, a leprechaun left us treats in the shape of an Irish flag:

and I had our traditional St. Patrick's Day breakfast - a Lucky Charm's sundae:

(I also made "Irish nachos" for lunch, but I didn't think to take a picture of those.)

Yep, a sit down dinner for 12 tonight. Hubby is currently cooking the corned beef, cabbage and potatoes and I made my Shepherd's Pie earlier and just have to pop it in the oven in about an hour. Have our rye bread and our Irish Soda Bread. Had a green bagel for breakfast. Oh, and have the Guinness on hand. I didn't know what to make for dessert so I made a carrot cake...have no idea if that is representative of the holiday but made cream cheese frosting to go with it and put green and orange sugar sprinkles on top!

And I am wearing my leprechaun hat lol.

Happy St. Patrick's Day all.

Nope, just got back from Clearwater Beach. Usually if I am working on St. Patty's day, I wear Orange.

One of the Korean groups I follow posted this today. I thought it was interesting.
