My wife and daughter are leaving today for my daughter's sweet 16 mother/daughter trip to BWV. I am very happy for them but I have to admit I want to go more than anything. I got to take my son on his 16th birthday trip and few years back and now it is my wife's turn. Oh how I would love to show up at their doorstep. We leave in one hour for the airport and I am trying my best to smile but it sure isn't easy!

I completely understand your desire to go, but your wife and daughter will have so much fun together. My mom took me for a special girls only trip for my high school graduation. It was a wonderful time for us to be together.
