Happy Passover!

Just found out that friends of mine are going to my ex's for Passover dinner. Sure, they were his friends first. And we have been divorced for 18 years. And my ex has converted from his Jewish birth religion to his new wife's Baptist religion. And, sure I was never Jewish, any way.

I still miss the good Passover dinners with his family. :sad1:

Wow, that was tough to follow... ;)

I work in the Bronx!!!
I'm another Jew by Marriage. And even though my DH didn't make it home for dinner tonight I made killer matzah brei for the kids! Sunday I'm hosting my 1st Kosher for Passover Easter Dinner. :lmao:
Chag Sameach to all!

Were you able to find that kosher ham :confused3

:rotfl2:

My younger brother is coming over for Easter and had the audacity to complain that he wasn't going to get ham. :sad2: My DH and kids don't ever eat pork even when it's not Passover...

Getting ready for Day #7 - watched "The Prince of Egypt" with the kids.

Today, I embarked on a Kosher for Passover cruise! (Ok, fine it was me & my family on a rowboat in Central Park in Manhattan with some matza, deli meat, and potato chips. Hey, a guy can dream...)

Getting ready for the LAST day (another good reason to give up galus :) )

Yeah. I spent the whole day in Central Park listening to nothing but Israelis speaking Hebrew into their cellphones. Looks like galus is being embraced by those ba'aretz. ;)

As the sun sets in NYC, I wanted to let everyone know something about Day #7 of Passover:

Just as the Seder night celebrates the exodus from Egyptian slavery, the 7th day is the day we commemorate the splitting of the Red Sea.
