Just got inside from the Boardwalk -- watching the fireworks going off all around us. Really nice!

Rained at the 7:30 p.m. fireworks at EPCOT and put a real damper (no pun intended) on the evening. I think the park was a little populated because of the weather today, but still quite crowded.

Anyway, Happy New Year!

I'm complaining about the rain we had here today, but I really shouldn't be.

I find out that at home (Northwest Indiana), they are under a winter storm watch. All across the northern states, winter is raging today and tomorrow.

I should be thankful for the heat and rain.

I hear we are supposed to get the cold wave down here on Wednesday, though. Wednesday and Thursday they are predicting in the high 40's, low 50's.

The "natives" will be in their parkas. Me, I'll be in my long-sleeved shirt and loving every minute of it!
