Thank you!!!! I got my flower seed and paper watering can from my 1st grader, a bouquet of paper flowers from my 3rd grader, a bookmark from my 5th grader, and some artwork from my 6th grader. They also (with help from DH) made my favorite muffins (French Puff Pastries) for breakfast. Oh yeah, and DH gave me flowers and a sampling of chocolate. It's pretty low-key, and I like it that way! After breakfast, I shooed them all away Love Ya Mean It!!!

Thank you! I am performing in a bellydance show today - DD & DH will be there to snap pictures. Then I get scrub off all that goop while DH prepares dinner - my favourite Maple BBQ steak with BBQ'd veggies. I love a man who can cook.

Now see, this is the down side of being a left coaster. I woke up early and thought, I'll just log on to the DIS and wish everyone Happy Mother's Day, and someone beat me to the punch! Thanks for the wishes and I echo them to all of the moms on the board.

We will be heading to my Mom and Dad's house where the men (Dad, Hubby, BIL and Uncle) will be cooking brunch for us! They have done this for years and it is lovely every time!

Thank you everyone how sweet And Happy day right back at those who are moms today! My husband is making Chicken Mirabella for dinner (It is one of those dream dinners out of the freezer) I have to work until 6unfortunately so it will be nice to come home to dinner for once.

I walked in Pittsburgh's Race for the Cure with my boys and my breast cancer survivor mom and my mil. It was a nice morning. (After we found my mom, who was lost for an hour! She forgot to charge her cell phone.) Now it's nap time, since my ds baseball game was just cancelled.

I got a load of dirt for Mother's Day. Not kidding. 1 ton of top soil for my new landscape out front! Sad day when that's what you are excited about arriving just in time for the Big Day! What was sweet was DH spending his entire Saturday loading up a wheelbarrow and carting it all over the front yard.
