My DD's got me a new make-up bag and make-up for my holiday and we're off to Pizza Hut for lunch (yippee no cooking !!!)

My eldest daughter made me a card at nursery and they all said "my mummy likes" and then the children had to complete it. Mine says ironing! Her teacher said to her are you sure mummy likes ironing she probably likes something else more - Amber insisted that I really really like it! I also got some daffodils, a couple of teddies and a photo frame. DH insists I do nothing today, hence me being on the pc and him hoovering up!

Have a lovely day everyone,
Joanne

Happy Mothers Day

My son gave me a card and a bootle of L'Occitane chestnut bath foam....absolutely wonderful. We are going for lunch to the Holiday Inn later.

Happy Mother's Day everyone!

My DDs have made me some lovely cards and a paper bunch of flowers.
Hmm. It would appear that a lot of you are being whisked out for lunch somewhere. I may have to mention this to DH ...!

Beanie gave me 3 lovely hard big kicks this morning has if to say "Happy Mummies Day!" lol which was sweet.... :goodvibes

Happy Mother's Day all mums and mums-to-be!! :grouphug:

Awoke at 6.40am with DS's shouting about Yu-Gi-Oh cards!!! They then brought me my cards - some made at school, although think DS Anthony (6) got a bit mixed up between Mother's Day and Valentines Day, and signed the card....To Mum, Love from ???. :teeth: Got some nice Thornton's chocs too, and CD.
DS Christopher (5) asked when it was Father's Day, as he wanted to make a list of what he wanted. I told him he wasn't a father so he wouldn't get anything, to which he replied, but I'm a boy........isn't that the same thing?? Too true!!!!!! ;)

Going to my mums for Sunday lunch. :flower:

Happy Mothering Sunday to all our fellow mum's. I've had brekkie in bed (two american pancakes with maple syrup - well, it's the only way! - courtesy of this fantastic kit that friend's brought back from Vermont from their ski trip), just had a cappucino, filing some of our Xmas skiing trip photos, checking out prices for Universal hotels for later this year . . . . now that's what I call a relaxing morning. But now I'm going to brave the cold wind outside and put the washing out

DH will be home from his football match about 2.30 pm, by which time I would have taken DD and friends to their rehearsal for a play in June, so we get a couple of hours peace and quiet. I will be taking some beautiful flowers over to my mum (in the cemetary ) and tell her how much I still miss her, then when Katie comes home we get to go out for mother's day dinner

I got a beautiful hand-made trinket box (Katie made at guides - as a guider, I had to look the other way!!), a cherry tree and a "captain caveman" tree for the garden.

Bliss.

It's so lovely to read about all these lovely things the little kiddies make and do for their mums!!! :goodvibes My "babies" are in their 20s now but I got an Il Divo CD which I love from DS, some lilies from DH and tickets to see "Beauty and the Beast" on stage from DD - what a great idea Mothering Sunday is!!! DH always cooks Sunday dinner so that's a regular treat!! :sunny:

Happy Mothers day All

I awoke this morning to my daughter bringing me a cup of water and 2 Asprin for my thumping head! :rotfl:

Followed by my real present of breakfast in bed and a beautiful purse with Marilyn Monroe(my idol)on.

Sue

Happy Mothers day to everyone from us too!

I got my favourite breakfast served up in bed Scrambled egg and smoked salmon on toast and a glass of bucks fizz made by the girls, supervised by DH and the best thing - all done with no arguing! Lovely.

I got a lovely tigger ornament from the Disney store from each of the girls, they are sooo cute, one with eyeore and one with pooh :cool1:

After checking out the dis boards and doing today's quiz I'm going downstairs to read my book. DH always does the cooking so lunch is taken care off!

Have a lovely day everyone. :flower:
