I cannot wait to enjoy BLT too! i want to check out the pool, it was too cold last December. hot tub too! and i love the easy walk to the MK. This is our first time in a studio too- so nervous but excited. I also want to do the TOWL too- we did it last year and it was fabulous, just too cold to stand outside.

love that you are packing already too- i know i am not alone.

your family nights are amazing!!! The Star Wars one is so cool and love your little MK you put together. So creative and fun.

We went up to the balcony area last year to watch Wishes one night which was so cool! It is such a different perspective watching it ABOVE the MK! This trip we plan to go up on our first night and also have a drink and dessert too.

Looks heavenly! I will watch Wishes from here someday.....

thanks Michelle yes I bet it can get cold up there if it's breezy too...I think the walk to MK is the best part we'll have to compare rooms/views when we meet up

Mon. Oct. 3rd 13 days till Disney

Get lots of PP pictures

I love photopass and even more when it will be just the two of us on this trip. We are usually so buys getting pixs of the kids or family shots that we don’t take the time to get just pixs of us…so this will be a sweet change. I want to of course get a pose at each of the 4 parks icons, and more around by characters and at the Halloween party!

Tues. Oct. 4th 12 days till Disney

Breakfast buffet (Wave) and carry only my plate…

I love breakfast and especially going out for it. At home, it usually a glass of OJ, and scarfing down some cereal or dry waffles w/ a hopeful piece of fruit or yogurt while getting the kids ready or Dising…so it’s always a treat to go out. We have done a breakfast buffet at least once every trip we have taken to Disney and since kids…I am always helping one child and carrying my plate and theirs…so just to carry my plate…oh joy! and I should mention I have a bonus for this ADR...a DISmeet ​

The thought of carrying ONLY my plate never crossed my mind until you mentioned it. I will be carrying 2 plates for the duration of our trip. I guess that's a small price to pay for the look of pure magic and excitement on Caden's face. I can't believe that we are only 10 DAYS AWAY!!!

See Jammin Jungle Parade

This is Matt’s favorite Parade on property and we don’t see it each time we come. We made sure to see it back in Nov. but it rained, so we didn’t see the full version…so we are hoping for good weather and fun!​

Sept.

* Make countdown board DONE!

* Start 30 day countdown and Family Nights DONE! (2 more nights planned)

* make mousekeeping/dining tip envelopes DONE!

* Pull suitcases, start packing, make trip shopping list ALL DONE!

* Create/Finish any special trip items and DIS gifts DONE!

*Make Matching Halloween Shirts…DONE! I actually bought the Target Mickey trick or treat shirt and Matt made his own custom shirt…you’ll have to wait to see it later in pixs from the trip, but it cool!

* Look into potential pin order from Ebay…have decided not to do at this time

Oct. weeks to go…

* Assess $ needs DONE! Have a little bit to pull and organize right before we go

* Garden Grocer Order DONE! (placed last Fri 9-30)

* Order Cake have tried calling direct line a few times, but no success, sent an email

* at 10 days online check-in for resort do tomorrrow

* last minute planning: Print Itinerary Cards, prepare travel Binder, put various items in phone (Dis meets ‘phone numbers, souvie list, Dining chart Working On!

* prepare schedule for kids/instructions for Mom Working On!

* call schools to inform I’ll be gone

* fill mini toiletries’ containers

* have Matt try on dinner out clothes to decide on shoes

* Arrange Rides to/from school for Rachel

* Arrange ride for Bekah for orchestra Concert (and remind Matt’s parents to attend)

* Talk to kids about souvie wish list

* Final Packing: costumes, dress clothes, shoes, …pull TSA locks, put DME tags on suitcases

* have clean sheets out for our bed to put on morning we leave (and fresh bath towels)

* prep a crock pot meal for my Mom to cook for Sun night dinner

*finish packing carryon’s (mine is basically done)

*make muffins

*HUG KIDS! (not that I’d forget )

MORNING OF:

* Pack daily toiletries (in suitcase), med’s (in carry-on)

* change sheets on our bed, hang fresh towels in our bath

* Final DIS PTR post (C-YA! )
