We are flying into Orlando airport.
Friends have highly recommended using Happy Limo's services.

Has anyone used their service and would you recommend it?

I booked Happy Limo for my parents last trip. (we arrived a day earlier and picked up the rental car)
I was very pleased with Happy Limo. Leonard was on time or early, very courteous, clean car, etc. I would not hesitate to recommend them and would use them again. (although we personally always rent a car)
It seems that no matter which service you choose, someone sometime has had a bad experience with every one of them. My advice is to make sure to confirm confirm confirm--and then do not hesitate to call if they are even ten minutes late--it didn't happen to us with Happy Limo, but have heard of small mix ups with all of the companies at one time or another. I think unfortunately it depends on the individual drivers--we're all human after all. Be prepared with an alternative plan if need be.

All that being said, Happy Limo was awesome.

Thanks for the post.

It'll cost us $130 round trip from Orlando airport to the All Sports,
for a family of four, which we thought was good.

I was thinking of getting a car, but we don't need one for the week, and we would have to get another one to get back to the airport.

A shuttle sounds like a bad idea...

Thoughts?

I HATE shuttles! I want to go directly to my destination without stopping at multiple hotels. We used to use Mears until we learned about towncars, and now that's all we'll use.
We've used Happy Limo many times for Disney cruises and Disney World, and the service has been great.

Just wanted to add my two cents...

Depending on the time of year, you may be able to get a weekly rental for less than $130. Since you are a family of four, a car would add more flexibility.

Definitely don't use the shuttles if possible. They take forever, and may stop at many resorts before they get to yours. Otherwise, I would agree with using a car service.

Does anyone have the # for Happy Limo??
I couldn't find it.
Thanks

Yes, it sounds like the shuttles are awful. You're on vacation, why spend wasted extra time getting to the magic? We don't use the shuttles and we don't use Disney busses for getting around on property either. We prefer to go straight to our destination, and prefer to drive ourselves. (Maybe it's because I live in a small town without public transportation, that I am just not "used" to it..?)

Ask your driver if they are HAPPY working at Happy Limo? Let them entertain you, it's like a sad joke. Report what they told you, I'm sure people will be interested to know this.

I was going to go with a happy limo or Fl tours.
But I've decided to get a rental car instead.

It would cost 130.00 at happy limo plus tip each way so that would be what? 150.00 160.00 total? (10.00 tip or 15.00 tip each way)

If we rent a car it's only costing me 205.58 for the 8 days With tax and fees etc.
Midsize via Alamo.

For that extra bit of money I have more freedom.
I plan to use disneys transportation but a few nights while in the park we planned some things to do that are not close to each other.

Example.
Drop kids at neverland kids club. Have dinner at artists point. Then go to pleasure island.. Then go back get kids.. then to hotel etc.

If we relyed on disney that night we'd spend hours just riding their transportation. This way we have more freedom to do stuff like this rather then having to settle on places that are close.
Or if I used the shuttle service then used a cab I'd really be paying as much as my rental is.

I know I'll have to find parking (parking is free if your staying at a disney resort) but I am willing to do that just to have some extra freedom.

JMO!

Now I'm thinking about renting a car.
But what about the cost of parking a rental all week?

I don't see the need for a car, but obviously would use it if I had it.

I'm just concerned about parking rates...

thoughts?

We always used a rental but last time we never even moved it out of the parking lot.
Plus it was 500+
And that wasn't anything fancy!
We used Hertz and we rented a medsize...there is 5 of us.
If I could get a car for $250 I wouldn't mind.

Actually, Happy Limo includes the tip in their prices.

My 2 cents:

1)avoid the shuttles at all costs.
2)happy limo is great
