We are thinking of splurging a little for our next Magic cruise. We normally do DCL transfers, but we are thinking of taking Happy Limo. We are only a part of 3 (DH, DS 7 and myself), so its not really cost effective, but we thought it would be fun.

We have a few questions that we thought people might be able to answer.

1) We will fly in the night before, and have not yet decided where to stay. If we use our Marriott or Hilton Garden Inn points, will Happy Limo pick us up at one of those area hotels for the same price as an airport pick-up?

2) O.k. . . .its a limo and we will be on vacation. Is it stocked with any alcohol? We thought a Bloody Mary or Mimosa would be fun. If its not standardly stocked, can you pre-order and have stuff available?

3) Will the limo stop at an area grocery store so that we can pick up soda and water? If yes, is there an extra cost for the stop?

4) What happens to your luggage once you get to the port? Do we have to haul it around until we can get to our cabin?

5) Lastly, what would be a customary tip each way?

Thanks for any help you can provide!

You're actually right on the edge of it one way or the other, 3 transfers is about the same as the limo.

Hmm, good question - I pass on this one, not too sure, have never done that.

2) O.k. . . .its a limo and we will be on vacation. Is it stocked with any alcohol? We thought a Bloody Mary or Mimosa would be fun. If its not standardly stocked, can you pre-order and have stuff available?

The 'limo' are usually more a fullsize car, like a Lincoln Continental or such, not a true limo, You'd have to ask them I think.

3) Will the limo stop at an area grocery store so that we can pick up soda and water? If yes, is there an extra cost for the stop?

They all do optional grocery stops now, and I don't think it's any extra. A few small notes here - One, you really don't need to buy water. The water supply shipboard is NOT land water. It is purified water produced by a system onboard that provides all the tap/fountain water onboard. It is comparable in quality to most bottled waters. Bring a sport bottle you can put ice and water in and you'll really be set, as your room steward will provide ice in room. As for soda, there is enough beverages offered for free on board that you'll not use much soda at all, plan low or you might be tossing it at the end. There's a drink station on deck 9 with lemonade(excellent!), milk, coffee, hot water tea supplies that you can stop at any time, and all regular beverages including soda are free with dinner. Soda the rest of the time is not free, however, so you need to judge what you're bringing it for. You can even order down with room service a pitcher of the Deck 9 lemonade to keep in your inroom cooler and the only cost is tipping who delivers it, room service is also included.

4) What happens to your luggage once you get to the port? Do we have to haul it around until we can get to our cabin?

They have a designated place at the port to drop it off and it'll be brought to your cabin for you. The limo drivers already know where to drop it off.

5) Lastly, what would be a customary tip each way?

We're usually overgenerous in this, so I don't think I'd be a good reference.
