Happy Limo Gratuity

We just returned from our trip to WDW. We used Happy Limo for our transport from Sanford airport to Disney and back. We had no problems with the pickups or service and would recommend them. However, when booking with them, double check that the gratuity is included in the price. It was included when I booked with them about 3 months ago. However, the driver who picked us up from the airport was really taken aback when I did not give her a tip after she dropped us off at the resort. I kindly explained to her that the tip was included in the price I paid for the service (20% tip at that). The driver didn't think that was the case and went so far as to radio in to her dispatch to make sure it was included before letting us leave. When she was assured by her dispatch that the gratuity was part of what we had already paid, she apologized for the misunderstanding and went on her way. We had no problem on the return trip. It turned out to be an awkward misunderstanding. So if you have booked, or plan to book with Happy Limo, make sure you and the driver are on the same page concerning the gratuity.

This was the reason I did not book with them last MArch. I had noticed that they no longer said the tip was included(they did on the limos, but not the town car). SO I went with someone else...it the tip is included they really need to have that advertized on their web site.

Thanks tatooed goofy...we will be using Happy Limo in October and our contract does state that the tip is included. I'll keep a copy of the contract handy in case there are any problems. We used Happy Limo in April and were very happy with their service - of course tip wasn't an issue because it wasn't included. I was a little concerned about our October trip and feeling awkward for not tipping personally. I think I'll just confirm with the driver that the tip was included.
