Hi! Happy Labor Day, everyone! I slept in a little, and then I am going to work on some swap stuff. This evening, we are going over to KAMommy and GoofyDad869's for dinner.

I am excited today because this time next week is my last working day before our WDW trip!!!

I slept in too today. Will be using the 40% HobbyLobby coupon today to pick out a pre-lit Christmas tree. I am so tired of fighting with the lights.
Hopefully I'll get some swapwork done today.
I grew up in NY (ahem 30+years ago), so I remember the Wednesday after Labor Day very well. My kids went back here on August 22nd. It seems so early but it is only 2-3 weeks earlier than the Northeast and we get out in May. So it is totally okay with my guys to go earlier than their cousins.
I wish I was still waiting to go to the World. It's been two weeks and I am missing it already.

Hi all. Slept late and just put a brisket in the crock pot for tonight.

Had the neighbors over last night and we sat around the fire pit--beautiful "almost fall" night for it. Our excitement was the neighbors had THREE possums in their tree!

Today I need to file papers, shred tons of papers, and work on cleaning the basement. DH and a neighbor are outside trimming the tree--more wood for fire pit--need to go get a holder for all of it.

Then tomorrow, back to teaching!

We just got back from the shore (aka the beach). We were finally able to leave early yesterday after Ernesto's rains. But the rains knocked out the phones at my parents' house, so no DIS for 2 days! Yikes! All is well, now. I got 3 swaps assembled and completed! I'm rather proud of myself. (It doesn't take much...) I hope to go to bed soon. Too much sun and sand and surf today. I'm a little pink around the edges. I did use SPF 50!
