The full moon was beautiful!! I will be taking over for a Math teacher who is due any day now. We thought for sure she might have the baby last night because of the full moon!! Didn't happen, tho so I'm enjoying one of my last days' off!!

G'morning Laurie!!!!

I am very happy today. My best friend and I just started taking a quilting class and last night we cut out all of the pieces (can you tell we are easily amused?) We are now going to start sewing.

We are the only 2 craft-impaired women in the class (I think the only ones who even wear makeup)...yep, we kinda stand out like a sore thumb, but we wanted to do something to get out for an evening every week and I have always wanted to learn to quilt...

It was funny, they had us buy these crazy looking (ie scary) graphic rulers and we are like "um do we need to take a geometry class before we start?"

Our husbands are just rolling their eyes and cooling off the credit cards...I *could* just spend the hundreds of dollars at a craft fair and buy a really nice quilt, but what would be the fun in that?

Now, how to figure out what a bobbin is....

Btw, a bobbin is the thingamagig that goes in the whatchamacallit.

LOL, I have to finish it (even if I pay someone else to do it )...my DH would never let me live it down....
