Hi Everyone!!!! I booked two nights at AKV. On 12/16 I am staying in a SV Studio and I had to waitlist for 12/17 for SV. On 12/17 I have a standard view. I've been on the waitlist for about a month now. What do you think my chances are of getting that one night? Do you think at the 7-month mark something might open up? I've never used the waitlist before so I didn't know what to expect! Thanks Fellow Disers!

December seems to be really popular at AKV this year. There are quite a few of us on the waitlist. I am hoping that after the 7 month mark rooms will start to open up as people move resorts.

We will be visiting over the Holidays too - with our extended family!! We will be at BWV from 12/18 - 12/27 and then head off to the Disney Cruise for New Year's - been planning and saving for 2 years!!! MVMCP 12/19

Ya I booked with my new AKV points and it was a nightmare getting my contract to go through. I called my sales guide on a Friday and couldn't get in touch with him until the following Wed! I bought the points and he said it would go through on Thurs. Called on Thurs and there were a bunch of SV rooms left, but my points weren't there. Called later Thurs afternoon and there was only one left!!! I was sooooo mad! My dumb guide lol But I'm hoping that since I'm only waitlisted for one night I'll be ok. Worse comes to worse we will change rooms!!

Nope- I called to add the night of Jan 2 and asked the CM. Of course she kind of sighed and then checked and said "NO". I am still waiting for Dec 30-31 in a one bedroom. I am hoping I get one of my nights since we are splurging and paying cash at the GF. Otherwise...2 more cash nights.

OUCH! Good luck! I know those rates are steep! Last year the ap rates started on the first of the year.. just our luck, huh? Glad you got the 2nd though!

Just moved our December trip to the week before Thanksgiving. This will be our first November stay and I'm hoping we'll still feel the holiday magic.

You can add us at BCV 11/15-19 and VWL 11/19-22. We're doing MVMCP on 11/20.
