Happy HalloWishes Dessert Premium Package mentions the parade but does it include the fireworks?

Also where is the viewing of the parade?

From the Disney World webpage:

  • Starting at 7:30 PM, Guests will meet at the parade viewing area located by the flag pole in Town Square (inside the park after you pass under the train station) to see Mickey’s “Boo-to-You” Halloween Parade, which will start at 8:35 PM.
  • After the parade, Guests will be escorted to Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant, the location for both the dessert party and the Happy HalloWishes fireworks viewing at 10:00 PM. Guests who miss the parade viewing can check in directly at Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant at 9:30 PM.

We did this last Oct and thought it was great!

The parade viewing area had plenty of room and was a great spot.

I have seen Hallowishes before, so I was ok with not having a spot right in front of the castle. DH does not like crowds at MK for fireworks or the parades, so this was a great area for him.

Couple of questions for people who have done this ... 1) do you have to get there at 7:30 to get good seats for the parade or can you show up closer to 8:30? We can usually get front row seats in Frontierland an hour before, so if we still have to get there an hour early even with paying for the dessert party it would take away a lot of the potential value for us.

2) Can anyone comment on the gluten free dessert options? Are there any baked goods that are gluten free, or do they only do the packaged Enjoy Life stuff?

3) Last question. We are looking at a Halloween party in September and sometimes the weather can be unpredictable. Do they let you reschedule for another night if the weather is bad and the parade/fireworks are canceled? Or offer a refund?

Thanks!

We got there maybe 30 minutes before the parade started and there was room for everyone to see. Unfortunately, I have no idea about the gluten free options. It was mostly just the regular desserts from the Wishes party with some Halloween decorations. They say no refunds for the dessert parties. That being said, they also say no refund for MNSSHP, and when we went 2 years ago it rained heavily and steadily from about 4pm-8pm. There was a huge line at Town Hall with people getting refunds because it was miserable outside and freezing cold for wet people inside, so they did do refunds.

Thanks so much! We always watch the fireworks from behind the castle because of the madness on Main Street so it might be nice to watch it from the front for once. DH and I are just debating about whether we can justify the cost of this on top of the party ticket. I'll admit the prospect of no refunds makes me nervous since September weather is so unpredictable and our primary goal for this would be the parade and firework viewing. Just the desserts would not at all be worth the $ for us.

Sorry, one last question ... did anyone feel like this event ate up too much of the party time? We don't do any of the characters so we don't have to work around that. Our priorities at the MNSSHP are the parade, some of the rides with lower wait times, and my son likes to do a little trick or treating. Would we have enough time to get to those?
