Happy Halloween!

We here on the DIS Boards hope you have a spooky, yet fun and safe time!
What was your favorite costume seen out and about today?

I wish we had little callers of candy tonight but it's been postponed until Nov. 6th due to so much storm damage!

Waldo from "Where's Waldo" and a kid in the biggest Mexican hat I've ever seen.
Reminded me of all those times I've tried them on in Mexico at Epcot

My favorite was a Dad dressed as Detective P, face, tail, and all! His kids were "Candice, Phineus, and Ferb"

It is 7:30pm here now so kids are still coming. I keep having to jump up to answer the door. For the past 2 years there has been a girl with a Disneyland Tour Guide costume. I haven't seen her yet this year, but I hope she comes. That's my favorite. :goodvibes

The best ones so far tonight was a cute little Rupunzel and a toddler dressed as an ape and his Mommy in a safari outfit.

One little girl in my preschool class was going to be Pinkalicious, from the book of the same name. The girl eats so many pink cupcakes she turns pink. Cute book! I read it to my class every year.

There was a little guy last night, maybe two years old, dressed as a flying ace. His mom was wearing a plane . So cute.

We had a young girl with a blond wig, carrying a surfboard with a large bite taken out of it, and one of her arms was tucked inside her shirt so she looked like the girl who lost an arm to a shark attack.

Wasn't sure if I liked it or not - was it in poor taste? Very cleverly done however.

Several clever ones...

• a person sized juice box (child made it with his sister...even had nutritional info on the back!)

• Luna Lovegood (love that she was a lesser known HP character)

• Gumby and Pokey

• My 11 year old niece was Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas, complete with a dress hand painted by her.

One older kid was in a bulky yellow suit with bright orange stripes, and carrying a guitar. I asked if he was a singing firefighter. His answer, as he straightened out the fake moustache, "No, um, John Lennon actually." Ok, I see now... round glasses... Sgt Pepper, ok. Yeah. Good one!

The two girls with him were in Hogwarts capes. At least he had some imagination. But it really did look like a fireman's suit! :lmao:
