Happy 13th to you all too.

Anyone with big plans today? I'm working this morning and then going to walk though a couple Parade of Homes and then back to the house to scarp with my lil' sis. So nothing over exciting but fun for me.

oh yeah and its also our first really cool day outside and I'm loving it. I'm so tired of summer clothes and I love all the fall colors.

I am working a 6 hour shift on what was suppose to be my day off

and it is past cool here it is downright COLD

they said we may see that four letter word that fall to the ground
and is white

hi, on this Friday. DD17 realized the date today and said oh no. Her and DH just bought a car for her last night and the sales man said that all the bank work will go through today. We are praying . Then I got thinking that, hey, we could of got a nice hot tub with that amount of money.

I'm at work. But it's a pay day Friday so my dd and I will eat out tonight- somewhere (hopefully somewhere better than Mickey D's!) LOL!

I drove through a snow squall yesterday on the way home from work! Come on it's Oct 12th!

I work in Detroit and the Tigers are playing at 4:30 PM today and I hope traffic and my parking lot won't be a mad house. I get out of work at 4:30! I'm rooting for the Tigers as its been 22 years since we have been close to the World Series, but it's going to be a pain!

My co-workers and I are keeping our fingers crossed! It is exciting though.

I use to have my pay day ritual along time ago and I just started it back up. This morning when I told my dd it's pay day, she said," We get to go out tonight!"

This morning dd was stressing out about the state testing. That if she didn't do well her school wouldn't get money. I asked who said that and she said the teachers! Nice. So she will need a treat!

The sad thing is what the teacher's told dd is the truth.. but sometimes when they tell the kids that it stresses the kids out more... We had state testing the 3rd-4th week we returned to school.. I worry the test results were bad.. I wish they would put them off till the spring so that they kids have time to get their brains really functioning and wrapped around the info again.. I know if they understand it they remember..but I wish there was a better time to take these tests and give them the funding they so deseparately need...
