Happy Earth Hour Everyone........

We're in the dark, but using candles and I'm using my Laptop on Battery power to DIS

It's surprising how many homes in my neighbourhood are observing the Earth Hour

I think it makes us appreciate how much we take electric power for granted

I was impressed by my neighbourhood too. We were planning on totally blacking out ourselves but a couple hours earlier, DH and I got in the spring cleaning mood and started cleaning out our closets. So during that one hour we had one light on compared to our usual couple lights, 2 tvs, speakers, laptop etc.

Personally, I'm glad that this has been a very public campaign because overall I know that we have cut our consumption down quite a bit. Hopefully, our will power will continue and we will be able to cut down some more.
