Sonic is a fast food place and it has some really awesome food... also, here you drive in and your order is taken at the board by the car ... then the waitress brings it out (they either walk or skate depending on which way they want to) It has some great food and deserts!!

It's a drive in. I highly recommend the cherry sprite or cherry dr pepper.

Pam, did you say ROAD TRIP? I've never been to Illinois. I'm a Cubs/Bears fan, I need to make it up there sometime. Are you gonna drive or am I?

Jan, I'd thirst to death if my Sonic closed. Congrats on having it reopened. I'll take you up on that invite someday. You're welcome for the reminder of a good thing.

It justed opened today but I didn't find out until after supper or we would have headed there!! Tomorrow, it is a date!! I am so excited!!

I might have to go there tomorrow too. I've only had 1 cherry dr pepper this week.

LOL! Jan, I'll head up there right now. I'll have to remember to bring my jacket. It's about 20 degrees warmer here than it is there.

I don't know if they have breakfast or not... when it closed it did... I will definitely check that out tomorrow... I LOVE the cherry Dr Peppers!!

OOOH... just thought... do they still have the peach shakes?! Which one, which one?

No, the peach stuff was for a limited time. I really miss the peach slushies. They had them last Spring, I think, or early Summer. I hope they bring them back. If you want something ULTRA sweet, try a strawberry slushy.

I'll be looking for the beckoning light.
