Yahoo!!! Both kids in school full time this year finally! Now I can get into all sorts of mischeif while they are at school, and don't have to worry about wrapping gifts without them barging into my office to see what I"m up to. Gotta love the first day of school.

Happy Back to school - I do home daycare so it sure was nice to get back to routine and send all the 'big kids' off to school!!

I missed back to school yesterday! A client coerced me to go to Chatham for a construction inspection (something that ended up not happening due to the backhoe breaking down) I ALWAYS go to first day! I do the Kiss N Ride in front and I already missed a day. (The easiest day of the year too!)
Oh well, I'll get even with him later this week when I take longer to do other work he expected done. An Engineer has to do due diligence and that 'takes time'. All so he can go on vacation next week with nothing hanging over his head.

Happy Back to school - I do home daycare so it sure was nice to get back to routine and send all the 'big kids' off to school!!

I also do home daycare, and it was nice to see the older kids off, but I miss my girls, they are 8 & 10, and if I could have had just them this summer,, then all would have been great! Today I have 2, 2 year olds, and they are both teachers kids.(I live right beside our public school) so have lots of teachers! But the biggest difference for me during the school year, is my own kids are to old to nap, but these ones all do!! A whole hour and a half of pure quiet! Well until the phone rings, someone knocks on the door, you know! Enjoy back to school!

Have to agree - it was heaven on earth to have a whole 2 hours of no one telling me they were bored - my own boys are 10yo and 16yo and they were getting bored and ready to go back.
I'll miss them but with back to school I can now say we leave one month from today for 'Uncle Walt's cottage'
