I'm so sorry I didn't come over here sooner, I just assumed by the date that this report was complete I clicked on your link yesterday just out of curiousity and find that you are still writing it! hehe thats ok! I have been taking a REALLYYY long time with the TR. I originally planned to have it done along time ago but with my schedule it just didn't happen. I'm getting closer though! But in a way I am happy that it has been taking a while because my next trip is soo far away.. it was originally in Jan.2011 and now my parents want to switch it to May2011 because they have got a free cruise from my dads work. I seriously don't want to wait that long.. I might have mini trip beforehand! hehe But I'm glad that you are here!

I am really busy with school, fieldwork, and work right now. So I don't have time yo update or read your TRs.. but I wanted to say hello- and I hope all of you are doing good. I miss posting, reading, chatting, and hearing about disney. I only have 2 more weeks of school left- I'm hoping to get an update in before then but if not- I'll be back more then.

Can you believe in about a month- it will be 1 year from my trip and I'm still not finished with the TR!! hehe Thats to funny.

Hello Everyone! I have missed you! I've been trying to stay updated on everyones TRs.. but while I'm kind of keeping up I'm not allowing myself any time to update. I think what I am going to do to finish this TR ALREADY! Is just post pics for the remaining days.. instead of sharing all of the days.

I have soo much I haven't shared with you guys...hmmm where to start...

I got a new phone! I'm finally up to date with some technology! I love cool techy things but I just don't have the income to buy it all! hehe I really want the kindle.. but I will deal with my knock-off kindle app on my phone until kindle is offered for androids.

I planted my very first flowers.. (stolen from my madre's flowers) and they lived! They are irises!

For a moment we thought of taking Austin's sibling (3) with us to disney, but my mom wasn't to happy.. so we scratched that idea. I'll explain more later. I am also considering ASMusic to stay in.. has anyone stayed there? Is it outdated compared to ASMo or Pop Century? What about food court compared to Pop? We are now going in May 2011 instead of Jan 2011.. basically my parents were offered a almost paid for cruise by my dads boss for Jan and they took it. So we scheduled it until after I graduate! Which is May 7th, 2011!!!!! WAHOOOO!

Austin got a new part time job- it's his 2nd job. He works as an ambulance service- which is his new certification. He is also in paramedic schooling..

Since he got the new job and will mostly likely start this weekend or next weekend- he decided to celebrate our anniversary early. Our Anniversary is June 7th- we have been married 2 years and together 8 years. It was very simple but nice. We originally had other plans but the weather wasn't cooperating and we switched them.. we woke up, went to breakfast, spent most of the day shopping together, We out to dinner at Harvey's.. idk if any of you have heard of it.. or tried it- it was out first time and the food was really good. We then went back home for a bit to play with the doggy.. and then went to the movies and seen Robin Hood. It was good- way better than I expected. And for the of you worried about it being a fighting war movie- its not soo bad. There is a lot of fighting but its not overwhelming.
Austy bought me a new ring for our anniversary!
He knows how much I loovveee Sapphires and I guess this is a created gemstone.. so its not a sapphire but its pretty dang close if you ask me! This is my first sapphire jewelry!

sorry about the old lady looking hand... I just felt the picture of the ring was soo clear.. I swear my hands don't look like that! hehe

After dinner at Boma.. we were both BEAT! I mean sooo tired because of the long day, long last few days, and because we ate wayyy to much.. we decided we wanted to do nothing more than head back to the room to relax. As soon as we made it back.. I changed into my comfy sleeping clothes.. and crawled right into bed. I instantly fell asleep.. while Austin did nothing but lay on the bed and play his UFC game. I woke up (slightly) a few times but finally was woken up by Austin calmly saying, "Jen you better get up if you want to go see fireworks". It was so cute and so nice that he woke me up in such a sweet way and to head back out to the parks to go see fireworks- which he doesn't really care for. Apparently, I slept for like 3 hours... and I still felt really tired- like I could just sleep the rest of the night. But I jumped at the chance to head to MK for fireworks.

I love the parks at night.. its just a different kind of magic. It's so beautiful and colorful and amazing!

When we arrived we had a little bit of time before the parade and fireworks.. so we wandered through some stores.. I wanted to find a hooded sweatshirt or zip up jacket.

But I ended up with this instead because I couldn't find one that I absolutely loved.

Before I left I had to make one last stop...I had saved my snack credit all day for this! ...MK Bakery for a mickey ice cream sandwich! I had seen soo many of them in pics and I was excited to see the cute little mickey head ice cream scoops smushed in between to yummy chewy cookies.. only to be let down.. because they didn't do a mickey head at ALL! I know they were busy and it was a long line but come on- how much more time does it take!! I was extremely upset about it.. but on a positive note- it was freakin huge and tasted very yummy. I split it with Austin and we could barely finish it!

Next up, Day 5 a FULL day at AK, and dinner at Mama Melrose and did we attend Fantasmic?

Aww.. thank you and welcome!! I'm hoping to post more this weekend and hopefully finish it up and start a long awaiting PTR. Its not til the beginning of next May- but thats technically less than a year away!

Thank you! I love those nails- I plan on doing it again for the next trip. I know I have time to decide but I am really trying to change my mind about the nail polish color. See.. that color is my absolute favorite color ever and I never get sick of it, its bright pink to great for spring, summer, and vacations, but I think I should do something different.. idk..

I'm not sure how many of you knew about this or participated in this! But I just found it the other day and I immediately ordered it! I was kind of sad that I didn't know ahead of time and could have shared my stories! BUT there is always the next edition? Does anyone else have this book? If not, I one hundred million percent recommend it!

I just got it TODAY!! I'm only in the first chapter and read 3 stories and I already love it. I will say though, this is a knot-in-the-throat kind of book.. every story is soo special and so meaningful that it just makes me want to cry!

Hello Everyone! Sorry I haven't updated lately.. I've been pretty active this summer and haven't been home as much as I usually am in the summer! I have been getting on here every now and then but its been to read your trip reports and not update mine. But now I really want to finish this TR because I have NEWS about our family trip May 2011. I know its like 10 months away.. but the beginning stages are planning are coming along and I REALLY want to start sharing all the good information. Plus, to be completely honest- I kind of like PTRs better than TRs when it comes to posting and sharing! Don't get me wrong I love sharing my trip information but it seems like it takes soo much more effort to upload pics and everything. Plus, once I return from disney I get the disney depression really bad and if I don't have another trip lined up them I get kind of down in the dumps and I don't really want to talk about disney. I know many of you know of this issue! But when I'm doing a PTR, I'm sharing the planning (which I love to plan), and the news is exciting and we are going to disney. Idk.. I guess I'm just ready to finish this TR already and look towards the future to our new trip! =DD I would much rather read your TRs then post my own! hehe

So my goal for the rest of the day is to try and get the rest of my trip finished- I have 2 days left! Then I'll start my PTR- nice and early!

I am going to just post memories.. or things we did!

Day 5:

WE were looking forward to this day all week! This is Austin's favorite park and I just loveee all the theming! Plus, we were super stoked to try Expedition Everest!!

Our Dessert: Chocolate Cake- that was very moist and yummy! I was actually to full to eat it-so I put it in my bag for a later snack!

When I last left off, we had just finished Rafiki's.. When we were finsihed with that we headed over to the Festival of the Lion King!!!! I absolutely loved this the first time I saw it. We had arrived early and it was in January-so there was practically no one there when we arrived, so we got REALLY great seats in the second row (on pumba side-for those of you regulars ). This time however, we arrived only a few minutes before showtime and we had to search for seats. Also, it was hotter than I than I recall last time. Either way, the show was still awesome.. even though are seats were the best. There were a lot of changes or things I didn't remember and I loved it. I always love the dancing flier girl and the tumblers. My camera battery kept dying and it didn't take the best pics- but I tried.

After the show finished we took a friendly stroll through..

I don't know why but this park is soo relaxing and inspiring! I mean sure its busy and packed with people.. but when you wonder off in the trails, or take a joy ride into the safari.. you truly can relax for longer than most 2 min attractions.

After that- we decided to head out, to return to our hotel for a bit to freshen up and then head to Hollywood Studios for our Fantasmic dinner package at Mama Melrose!
We said Hello to Rainforest Cafe.. an old favorite back home.. I go there sometimes just to pretend I'm in disney! hehe

We only stayed at the room for about 30 minutes and then headed out to HS!

When we arrived it was pretty sunny with only a few clouds.. and we actually had time to walk around before dinner..
Some nice lady volunteered to take our picture together.. She said "My husband and I never got pictures together when we were younger and at disney cause we were to afraid to ask" I told her thank you soo much!

We were starving so we decided to go to MM early..without getting rained on!! and when we arrived I checked in about 15 mins early.. Austy went to the bathroom and before he got out we were already being seated!! I was surprised!
But for the few seconds that we were waiting I took a picture of my view into the place..

As most of you know- when you do the fantasmic dinner package appetizers are included in the dining meal for the dining plan and as we were trying to decide the waiter told us we could get out own appetizer! I knew I wouldn't be able to eat it all but Austin wanted to try the Crispy Calamari.. so he got that and I got the Mamas Antipasto for two. It was basically sausage and cheese with vegetables platter. I forgot to take pics of mine.

For dinner I had Oven-baked Chicken alla Parmigiana

and DH had Charred Serloin Steak - "Italian roasted potatoes with carmelized sweet onions, aged Balsamic shallot butter and Chianti Wine reduction"

For dessert I honestly can't remember what the name of the dessert was.. it might have been a Crema Limone.

DH had Warm Chocolate Truffle Cake

As far as the appetizer and main course it was all delicious! Austin loved his dessert and I thought mine was good- but it was my favorite this week.

After dinner, as soon as we walked outside- GUESS WHAT? It was raining cats and dogs... so we decided to just go back to the hotel room for the night, we didn't feel like dealing with the rain anymore and it didn't seem like it was going to give up any time soon. After about 30 mins of being back at the room, it stopped raining but we were both a little irritated with the rain and the wayy to many bus rides because of the rain that we decided to just enjoy our last night in the room. So Austin and I went and got more snacks.. this is all of our snacks at the room now.. yes we are piggys!

We also spent a lot of time taking night pictures of the resort-

After that went back to the room, packed up most of the things, and went to sleep. Well... I went to sleep, Austin stayed up for a bit playing UFC.

Thanks! I can't til the end of the TR to share pics from a calendar I ordered from the disney photographers! We got some great pics from that!

The food was delicious and I'll say that I was surprised! I guess I didn't expect much more than some spaghetti from this restaurant.. and we only chose it because it was on the fantasmic dinner package and this seemed most appealing! I'm glad we tried it though and I definitely want to go there again! The decorating is cute and it reminds me of a "Lady and the Tramp" type of place! Its nice! I'm glad that I have you an idea of somewhere to try!!

I just want to share a funny story! So the other day, DH and I were talking about disney and as most of you know Splash Mountain is DHs favorite ride besides Spaceship Earth. Soo.. we were talking about Splash Mountain and DH said "I wonder what movie that ride is based off from?" I said "I don't know, I've never seen it, but its probably really good". So I decided to google it and I said "What disney movie is Splash Mountain ride from?" and it ended up being "Song of the South" I instantly got excited that there was such a movie.. and it brought back memories.. idk if I've seen the movie before, but I sort of remembered the cartoon aspect and the characters,.. but idk if that just me thinking I did because of the ride and how familiar I am with the songs.

I then started searching on youtube for video clips and trailers.. and I found quite a few! So of course, we wanted to buy the movie because 1. It's about SPLASH MOUNTAIN, and 2. It's an old classic- and I love this disney old classics..idk why! Soo I started searching around to buy the movie.. of course I couldn't find DVDs.. I guess disney never made them into DVDs and the VHS-used copies were like $45.. cause they are a classic and rare. Finally after searching on ecraters, I found a dvd- and I ordered it.

When I got it, I didn't realize that it was a made dvd, like a replica.. this made me confused cause isn't that illegal? But maybe the company has a special license...idk. Anywho.. so last night we watched the movie and I love it of course! I also found it amazing that the main character "Uncle Remus" does most of the voices for the characters and that he sang the original Zippidydodah song. That really touched my heart and I want to meet Uncle Remus now! Austy also loved the movie!! It wasn't one of my all time favorites but its pretty great and I'm glad I have it to add to my collection. I also read that "So Dear to my Heart" is a sequel to the movie.. and they have that on the disney movies club on dvd! YIPPY! So I might get that one as well!
