Happy Anniversary while singing in the rain @ WDW! UPDATE-PPass p.14 & BFF p.15 9/18

Geeze, I missed an update! :upsidedow

I LOVE the topiaries! I really want to see them in person sometime.

Aw you look great at the wedding!

EW! Did you try the Beverly?!

I love the Nemo ride! "Bigggggggg Blueeeee Worrrrrrld"

Aww. Thanks. I love that dress but its so painful by the end of the night. It's a halter- and its not a flexible material and the knot from the bow.. was killing me. It was sore for like 2 days. I think its time to retire that beauty. hehe I wore it maybe 3 times.. I think that is enough. hehe

Yes I did try Beverly.. I know- why put myself through the pain.. hehe I just don't can't get over how really disgusting it is. But its fun anyways.

Today, my best friend Amber is leaving to go back to Florida. Although she would like to stay she has things she needs to deal with in Florida. We hung out last night- we went and got ice cream and went swimming with my friend Rachel and her little girls. Which are adorable. I don't think I've shared pics of them ever. So I'll share real quick.

This is Makenzy,

I swear when I have kids.. I hope they are as cute and lovable as them.
But of course last night and today I'm pretty sad that she is leaving. It was really hard this time because it was during the summer and I didn't have much to do- so we spent a lot of time together.. and I got use to having her around and we were caught up on everything and had some really great talks and laughs.. and its going to be hard not being able to just wake up and meet her somewhere. So I've decided to post another update..so I don't think about it. hehe

So when I left off, we were on Day 2, right after lunch at Sunshine Seasons. yummy.

After we ate, we decided we had done enough for now in Future World and we were heading for our favorite World Showcase.
I told Austin that this time I wanted to go the opposite or back way into WS this time.. meaning instead of starting at Canada, I wanted to head towards Mexico. We have never done this before and I was really anxious to ride Gran Fiesta.. because I never knew about it before and I've mention more than a few times that I love the movie "The Three Caballeros", idk why.. its just one of those old movies I can't get enough of. So off for Mexico we headed..

Ohh and I probably should mention soo far today.. no rain..it was even pretty sunny. :goodvibes

taking pics on the way.
105.jpg

104.jpg

YAY for Mexico!
107.jpg

106.jpg

I don't know why but I absolutely love the Mexico Pavilion/building area. I love going in there.. its like your in a whole new world. I love the lighting, the way shopping is set up, the awesome items they have, the pretty restaurant which I believe in San Angel Inn? I'm pretty sure it was suppose to be closed while we were there.. as soon as Austin seen it he said "Why didn't you make reservations here?" Because he remembered that last time we went we loved it to- and wanted to do it next time.. and I told him.. I SWEAR I read it somewhere that it was suppose to be closed.. idk why.

One thing I loved about today, was that we didn't worry about rushing from country to country because we knew we had another day here at Epcot.. so we really got to casually stroll through Mexico and thats when I found my SHIRT! It was a Three Caballeros Shirt. They actually had adult shirts but I didn't like the colors or the designs.. so I ended up getting a kids shirt- just a large size- and it fits like a little tee. DH said "you really want it?" I said "Are you kidding me?!! This is like a dream come true" hehe:yay:

I don't have a picture of just the shirt- BUT I did wear it while at Disney World and I'll let you know when I'm wearing it! :goodvibes

I also love the Fountains.. we took a few pics here as well.
108.jpg

110.jpg

109.jpg

I told Austin to get me.. but also get the whole fountain.. he did a great job.. don't ask me why there is a weird tannish glare. I actually love this picture. He took another one.. but even though its clear it didn't turn out as good. So I'll deal with the glare.

and FINALLY THE MOMENT I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR..

112.jpg

113.jpg

Austin and I on the "love boat" under the stars.. as Austin said. He had to take a picture. :lovestruc I looveee how when you start the ride.. you go under the stars and see the other side of the restaurant and everything. Mu pics didn't turn out.. otherwise I'd share.
122.jpg

119.jpg

120.jpg

123.jpg

124.jpg

I loved how Donald's clothes are thrown on the ground.. and if you look at the picture.. they are at a beach.. it was cute.

All I have to say, is I love you Disney World.. please never get rid of that ride- if anything- make it better. hehe It's not the most amazing ride I've ever been on.. but its really cute. I love the music and if you are a lover of the Three Caballeros.. you will love it just because of that. Austin even said it was pretty good.. and he's not really a fan. Whenever I'm watching the movie- he says "You're watching this again?" hehe

After that, as much as I wanted to stay in Mexico.. I knew it was time to move on and we headed towards Norway.

I love Norway, it's to small if you ask me. We first headed towards
132.jpg

But I knew it wasn't hungry or even munchy after lunch.. even though everything look amazing.. I didn't take a picture of the yummy snacks but if you want to see on. xoktenox has a great one. Your mouth will water. promise. hehe I really wanted a sweet almond pretzel but told myself I would return later for that snack credit

So instead we went into Vikings

128.jpg

129.jpg

130.jpg

131.jpg

I didn't really get into this very much.. but Austin did for sure. He loves stuff like that and I will say the realism (is that the right word I'm looking for?) is pretty sweet.

Next we headed into the shops.. for some goofy pictures.
134.jpg

We seriously picked those up- put them on- snapped a picture and took them off and set them back and when Austy did- his fell apart.. I was like WOW talk about cheaply made. and then some nice couple asked if we wanted a picture together.. and I said thanks.. and returned the favor.
135.jpg

I love this picture.. this is one of my favorites with Austin of the trip- and Idk why but I love how he's holding his nose. hehe

and then we saved the best for last.. well I didn't know til I rode this.. that this was the best of Norway.. its quite an experience if I do say so myself.
133.jpg

It was way different than expected.. it was kind of weird.. but it was fun and kind of bumpy. When we ended, I said "Well that was different" hehe and when you exit- you are in this cute little city. I would definitely give this a try if you haven't yet.

Well this is where I'll end for now.. next up China, and FINALLY and Disney Character.

Oh I should also mention- these first two days have been amazing with waiting in lines. We hardly waited in any lines- if we did it was no more than 5 minutes. We practically walk on in every ride. :thumbsup2

Ahh I'm behind! You're going quick now girl LOL Then I saw I was mentioned in this one and hadddd to comment LOL

We didn't go on the 3 caballeros OR maelstrom :headache: next time we definitely will. it seems like you guys are having good luck with the lines too, i hope that sticks throughout the rest of the trip.

The norway snack wasn't as good as it looked so don't worry if you missed it. maybe we just had a bad batch because we were there towards the end of the night.

can't wait to hear about the rest of your day!!

Aw, that's great you found a shirt of The Three Caballeros ride since you like it so much. I can't wait to see what it looks like!

:rotfl2: Love the pic of you guys with the Viking hats on! I can't believe Austy's fell apart!

Ok- I am going to try and update at least a little everyday.. or as much as as I can.. because I went to Florida in the end of May.. and its freakin Aug.. and I'm only on day 2. hehe But also because next week I start my new job:thumbsup2 and soon after I start school again. I know I will be really busy at first because I will be commuting and night classes and work and work out classes I took this semester.. soo I want to try and finish this by the end of the month. I'm kind of sad because to think that in a little over 2 weeks I will be done and no NEW trip to talk about.. but I know if I don't finish or at least get close- this could go on forever. hehe

New News- Yesterday, I was browsing through disney pics that I still had to edit and stuff- Austy just got home from work and walk over and was looking at them. He said "Ok, I'm ready to go back to Disney now" in the most calm nonchalant voice ever. I was like "REALLY?!" I was really pumped because see about a month after going to Disney World I was ready to go back and couldn't wait to replan a new trip. But DH kept saying, no we have more important things to take care of then planning a trip.. blah blah. So when he said this- I was like YAYYY! And then he said "But were not planning one though for a couple years" :sad2: WHAT?! I said "no, I told you that I want to take a trip right after I graduate as a graduation celebration" and he agreed I was right. Now I'm not going to officially graduate until May 2011. It seems like a long time but its really not. Half the year is almost over, and then it will only be a year in a half. I really only will have 2 more semesters and then student teaching- then I'm FREE! hehe So it won't be as bad as I thought.

Soo.. its like 2 years away, but I figured well I can ask my Parents and bro to go because my mom has been saying that she wants us to plan a family vacation soon. We haven't been on true family vacation besides camping and upnorth since I was in 8th grade I think. Soo.. its been a while. My mom wanted us all to go on a cruise. I have been begging my parents to go to Disney and stay onsite. At first my mom was reluctant saying "If I go to Florida, I will want to go other places besides Disney" which makes since. But she always says that staying offsite is cheaper. I said NOT really and thats half the experience. But you Disney lovers understand. But then after telling my dad about our trip- before we went and then after.. he out of the blue one day said "We need to plan a vacation to Disney World as a family" and then he began asking me about prices and whats included in the dining plan and so forth. It was like my Dad got it- he seen all the awesomeness of staying onsite- transportation and so on. My mom has also sense caved- because she 1. likes the prices that she hears we pay- because we always do deals and 2. she has always wanted to go back. And well my Brother- there was no caving him.. he was all for it from the beginning. hehe He had just went to Florida in March with his GF to visit family- and they were like 3 hours away. Supposively, they were suppose to have WDW tickets for 2 days, that her GMA got free or something but then when they got there.. she didn't have them and no one wanted to drive 3 hours to take them. He was really mad.. he said that was half the reason why he went. Oh well.

BUT As soon as I told Austin I was going to tell my mom.. he said "NOO- It's just going to be us" So I had to explain to him-Austin, my family has wanted to go on vacation as a family for years now. This is a good opportunity for us to do that. He was worried that we would be stuck with them the whole time and have to do what THEY wanted to do and so forth. Plus, he knows how picky of an eater my dad and brother are. So I had to tell him, we would have our own room and we wouldn't have to do EVERYTHING together.. we can make plans just together. He just loved how easy and laidback our trips are because we plan everything together- and whatever he plan to do gets done, and we don't have to worry about anyone else.

So he told me to wait to tell them- I was thinking "thats dumb- they need time to save", but then he suggested going somewhere else. Austin and I have always wanted to go to Europe and other countries. He suggested going to Ireland. He's Irish and really wants to go there.. and its one of my top places. BUT sadly, its not as excited and Disney World. I'm truly addicted!

So we have been browsing for all-inclusive trips to Ireland.. to help with costs cause its more expensive then Disney World- thats for sure.

But it was funny because as soon as he said we could plan another trip in 2011.. I was awesome.. now I can tell my DIS friends and start planning.. and he looked at me all bugged eyed and said "ARE YOU SERIOUS?!" "Disney World is all you care about". hehe I said No, its like my DIS friends DISboard says "Life is what happens between the trips to WDW" and thats how I feel. he started laughing.. he said we are goofy. Can you guess who I got the quote from?!!

If you guessed- Tinkgurl you were right!

So to make a long story short- We are going to start planning another trip- it could be to Disney World or to somewhere in Europe. We aren't sure yet. Of course in the back of my mind I'm praying for WDW.. but we will see.

Austin also said that he wanted to go for 2 weeks this time if we go to WDW. I said That would be great- but you will have a different job then, and who knows for how long, or how your vaca days will work. So we are unsure. But 2 weeks at WDW would be awesome. Idk if he meant 14 days exactly.. but thats pretty awesome. I can't even imagine that. I always wished for like 10 days.. and that still has yet to happen.

Ok well I was going to UPDATE the trip.. but I think I will take a break and come back later. So expect one sometime today!:upsidedow

Woo! I'm glad somebody agrees with my quote! It's so true for me too.

Yay for another Disney trip! I'm excited your hubbie is finally understanding how fantastic Disney is. I love all the Epcot pictures!

Hey guys! I just wanted to let you know that I'm still alive! :goodvibes I guess my whole plan of finishing before school started-isn't going to happen. BUT I guess with my new job training and stuff- it took more time then expected. I do have the rest of the week off- today I am planning on getting things around at home- such a fun things like laundry, cleaning and such. If I have time I'll post an update- if not, then I will most definitely do one within in the next day or 2. Sorry I am slacking on your dis PTR's/TR's.. I will catch up again I promise!

No worries, we'll be here when you have the time! Good luck with everything!!!:goodvibes

First off, I want to say that Austin and I ran out first race together last weekend. It was the Crim Festival of Races- its like the biggest race in MI. We ran the 5k- and surprisingly it wasn't that hard. I did enjoy it- however, I think there should be a age requirement because parents were just hauling there kids along and they were running in and out of people- and then just stop right in front of you. I mean its crowded enough. Plus, I seen many parents running with there kids and the kids would be soo tired and wining and the parent would look back and say "come on" pffff. It kind of made me upset that they would do that. Clearly, they are not in shape to do it. But other than that it was nice. I'm not sure if I ever mentioned this- but Austin and I started jogging 4 times a week about 2 months ago. We started out at a mile. Which might seem small to some, we were trying to do it the healthy way, by not injuring ourselves and also because we were never runners before. Now we are at 3.2 miles, and that is good enough for me. I'm not a huge fan of running, never have been and I feel like this is enough to make me stay healthy and get a good workout. Now that work has started for me, new school has started for DH, and school will start for me next week- we will see if we can still hold up the 4 days a week. I'm hoping soo.. although I haven't seen any weight loss and the scale hasn't changed- my mom said I look slimmer- and Austin said my legs are a lot more toned- so I'll blame it on muscles! hehe But I am going to try and keep it up to stay healthy and active.
Image305.jpg

OHH and it was Austin's little brothers bday- of course as Austin's mom says "I'm the designated cake maker in the family now". I guess my cakes taste yummy and now I've tried creative touches to them. His brother said he wanted a sponge bob cake.. soo ok I tried.. and 3 hours later.. 12:30am..
This was my first character cake and my 2nd detailed decorative cake.
Image311.jpg

Ok on with WDW!

So when I left off, we had just got done with Maelstrom- which I highly recommend trying.. its an adventure- a fast one. It's over before you know it.. and it might leave you confused- but it was fun.

So we headed to China. I'm not a big fan of this country- I think its pretty but I usually kind of pass through. If there is anything you recommend- please let me know.
136.jpg

137.jpg

I love this picture of Austin...sometimes I swear I should be a photographer because I always spot great picture spots. hehe
138.jpg

Next we went into museum- I'm not really sure what its called- and It's not in the Epcot brochure.
139.jpg

I liked this saying.
141.jpg

You can barely see me.. but I'm there. hehe
142.jpg
[/IMG]
As we finished China.. I was excited because I knew my FAVORITE country was coming.. well one of them anyways. GERMANY! I'm not sure why I love it so much- maybe because I'm German, or because it reminds me Frankenmuth, MI (sister city of bavaria, Germany), or maybe its the language that intrigues me or maybe its just the beauty of the buildings.

and finally right before we entered Germany- look who I found--
144.jpg

143.jpg

145.jpg

146.jpg

I love this picture of me.. especially the background- now if only I could get this without all the people. hehe
148.jpg

Now although I could just linger through this country and stay awhile.. I knew that our goal was to casually- but kind of quickly browse through everything today and then return again another day to really spend sometime here. And even though we were just walking through- it did seem very laid back and casual- thats one thing I love about World Showcase- its not so much like MK- where you have a million things you "HAVE TO DO" hehe, there's not so much and its mostly for your viewing and shopping pleasure. hehe Plus, I knew I would be back to enjoy Biergarten for the first time :goodvibes

As we were heading towards Italy- this magician whistling guy walked right in front of me..
153.jpg

soo.. we stopped and decided to watch him.
154.jpg

155.jpg

156.jpg

He was quite energetic and moved really quickly- so it was hard to get good pictures of him in action. In part of the show, he had kids throwing balls and things into hats and such and it was funny- around all these people all the kids pretty much made it first try- and I was thinking- man if he chooses me.. "all this pressure" hehe Obviously, it wasn't much pressure for the little tikes.. or else they are good under pressure. hehe
We left before he was done- it lasted a good ten minutes while we were there. He's worth watching- so if you ever seen him- do follow. ;)
Just for kicks, I took a picture of the American Pavillion.
157.jpg

ohh and look at that couple being all sweet and romantic in none other than America. hehe I mean I would of choosed France, Italy, Germany, Morocco, or Mexico.. but whatever. ;)
We walked right past this- I tried not to go near it because I didn't want Austin asking me for a burger and ruin my dining resses. See idk if I told you guys this but last time we went- we didn't do the dining plan- BIG mistake but anyways, he was on this kick of not trying anything new- and he didn't want to waste the money- which made since. We were paying for everything so we might as well eat something we know we will like. But he seriously had me eating burgers almost the whole time.. until finally I protested- look I know thats one of your favorites...but to me NOT so much. hehe He had still yet to have a burger this trip. AND surprisingly enough, he hadn't even complained one bit. Which is surprisingly, cause Austin always gets burgers when we go out to eat.

For some reason we didn't even look through Japan.. and this was the only picture I took of the beautiful setting.
158.jpg

who knows. I was probably getting tired..hungry and thirsty.
We also seen this- but we didn't stay and watch.
160.jpg

We did go into the shops at Japan- idk why but we really find shopping here so interesting.
162.jpg

163.jpg

At this point, we were both getting hungry and really thirsty- Austin wanted a ice cold beverage- and I talked him into waiting until we got the United Kindgom because they have the Pub and serve Guinness, which is Austin's favorite. So he started rushing me. hehe
We decided to pass through Morocco because we love that country and want to spend more time here. When we not rushing. I need see...
164.jpg

BUT the line was crazy and I didn't feel like waiting.

AS we were walking I kept snapping random pictures.
165.jpg

166.jpg

I grabbed a picture in France.. after we had a photographer take our picture.
152p.jpg

Next.. Did we make it to UK before we had out drink.. what did we drink, Dinner at Coral Reef :woohoo: our gift from Mickey:lovestruc and sooo much more.

Wow, I give you props for running that race! :worship:

Hey, that Spongebob cake is awesome! Great job, girl!

That is a good pic of Austin that you took!

I really wish we would've spent more time in WS this trip, but we just never got around to it.

Yay for another Disney trip! I'm excited your hubbie is finally understanding how fantastic Disney is. I love all the Epcot pictures!

Yes I am also very happy. Every now and then, we will be like "yeah, I'm ready to go back to disney world now" or "I want to go on Spaceship Earth right now" out of nowhere of course, and it makes me smile that he truly does think of it on his own now.

We'll be here when you get a chance to update, but I am excited about a new post! :yay:

No worries, we'll be here when you have the time! Good luck with everything!!!:goodvibes

Thanks you guys!! I just caught up on all your reports! I wasn't as far behind as I thought. :goodvibes:goodvibes

heheh, yeah working up to the race was a big pain the butt sometimes, but when I ran the race and finish- and it not being to hard. I was super proud of myself and my husband of course. I wasn't worried about time or placing.. I was only worried about finishing and enjoying myself.. and I did it. :goodvibes

Well...you are going again soon enough.. so don't worry you will be in WS in no time. :wizard:

Love the pictures, especially the one with you and Snow White.

I run, mainly for weight loss and to clear my head. I think I may have injured my hamstring (or something in my thigh), so I'm taking the next couple of days.

Great pictures! The one with you and Snow White is really cute!!!

I agree with you about Maelstrom -- fast and slightly confusing, but fun! :lmao:

The cake you made turned out great!!! I love baking, but have yet to master the whole decorating thing!

Thanks- I'm trying to include as many pictures as I can..since I did take about a 1000. I think thats why its taking me so long to update.. hehe or I'll just use that excuse.

GREAT job for you though. I seen on your signature that you have lost weight -I'm guessing from running! Thats really good- I have to figure out how to do that. hehe I haven't lose weight but my husband has lost 10 lbs. He keeps telling me he has more weight to lose- and thats why.. hmmm

Thanks! The cake was also really yummy.. next time I'm going to use more frosting through.. I love the rainbow chip frosting.
Photopass took a great picture of Snow White and I as well.

Man your spongebob cake is amazing. MIL is right you should be the designated cake decorator.

Aww, these Epcot pictures are fantastic. I've always wanted to ride the boat from Epcot to the resorts.

Last time, we were finishing up France when I finished. The last picture I took was "I definitely have to eat here next time"
167-1.jpg

So I probably didn't mention anything about the rain- which is funny because of my title and I forget to tell you guys our daily forecast! hehe Today we got REALLY lucky because although it was cloudy and muggy all day- it hadn't rained yet. I think ever now and then we would feel a sprinkle but then it would go away.. and there was no sign of a rain cloud.

Yesterday (day 1) and the night before (our arrival) was crazy with treacherous storms. Let me just say, when it rains in Florida, it rains.. So today we expected rain because the forecast said rain and the weather said rain. We were always afraid to spend to much time inside somewhere. But our second day had turned out ok so far.

So finally we arrived!
175.jpg

It was a long haul across the country- but we made it. Austin almost didn't make it but we did- and I'm happy. We have never been here before, and as soon as we walked in- we were shocked with how small it was inside.
172.jpg

I did love all the character- and the service was nice. It was awesome cause as soon as we walked in, there just happen to be an open table- only 1. I jumped at it and told Austin to order mine. He of course got Guinness and he got me a "Cider beer" which is what I always call it. I think the brand was Woodpecker but I'm not 100% percent sure. It was very good. It was ice cold and refreshing. I'm not one for beer but I do like Guinness because of its thick coffee taste- but other than that I'm pretty picky. I would rather have a daiquiri or mixed drink. hehe But this is one of the beers that I will drink. I don't think it taste like beer. So if you're not a beer drinker and love cider try it. Its a very light-crisp taste.
Idk why but we though this 4leaf clover was amazing. Maybe this happens all the time in UK.. but not at bars here in our hometown. hehe (You can tell we don't get out much).
168pic.jpg

169.jpg

170.jpg

Both drinks look so ice cold and delicious. hehe and I'm not even a big drinker.

Us at out little table in the corner..
171.jpg

173.jpg

(Austin took a picture of me- but it looked bad so I took my own hehe)
And this is me taking a picture of my disney tattoos- first time in Disney.. and also me putting my feet up and relaxing.. hehe
174.jpg

So finally we decided to leave, I could of sat there for hours but we knew that our dining resse was coming up soon, and we needed to get to Coral Reef. So we exit the Pub.. and Austin gets in line..... for another.
178.jpg

So I took a picture of our view..
176.jpg

While he finished his 2nd beer- we finished checking out UK.
179.jpg

180.jpg

and we casually walked to Coral Reef..

As we walk past Austin says "Why aren't we eating here?!!" :headache:
181.jpg

HELLO? Where were you all the times I asked you for your input on dining places and you told me to choose. I actually had LeCellier on the list but took it off figuring we were eating at Coral Reef and would have steak. I know there steak probably doesn't compare to a steak house but I wanted to have it different every night. So I promised we would go next time.

I LOOVVEEEE these flowers!! I think they are bright and beautiful. I commented on them everytime I seen them. Does anyone know what they are? Would they survive a MI summer?! hehe
