Happy After Halloween!

I hit the Halloween store this morning at opening. They had ONE Tiana dress left, and it was in my daughter's size! $7.48 for the dress she wanted for our January trip! That'll be going under the Christmas tree. I also cleaned up on Merida. Between the Halloween store and Walmart I have a dress, gloves, tiara and bow and arrow set, all 50% off. (We skipped the shoes. I am not having her walking the parks in those little plastic things. Owie!)

Today is a good day to pick up some bargains.

This year, in honor of my diabetes, I bought no 1/2 price candy. At least it saves me money, right?

I hit up Target today and got a bunch of non-candy snacks in Halloween packaging at 30-50% off - little bags of popcorn & pretzels, and 3 boxes of Cliff Z-Bars. Great for school lunches. It was already pretty picked over by the time I got there this afternoon so I was glad to find what I did.

I hit two Targets yesterday and found a lot of the stuff you mentioned. I stocked up on pretzels and the cheez it 12 packs that had spooky trees on the little bags. My kids eat those at home, at school, you name it. I picked up one box of Cliff bars to see if I liked them and now wonder if there are anymore left, it was like a peanut butter Rice Krispie bar (yum). I also got orange and black striped and polka dotted paper plates for 50 cents a pack. We'll use those for Thanksgiving appetizers and desserts.
