After my snack I took a quick shower to freshen up and head out for my dinner at Kona. Eating the marshmallow before probably wasnt the best idea but whatever. Anyway so after getting ready I took the bus to the MK to catch the monorail to the Poly. Well turns out I would be early for my 5:00 ressie so I took the monorail around a couple times to get some pics from the ride.

I was so excited that it was such a nice day out and the window's on the monorail were clean so my pictures actually came out pretty good!

Also here is the CR and Kingdom tower to the left.

After 2 rides around the loop I decided to get off at the Poly and explore the lobby a little bit. Man is that resort beautiful!

And look what else was in the Poly lobby building...another sign of awesome things to come!

Before I knew it, it was 5 and time to check in. I was seated right away at a 2 person table aginst the wall on the right side of the restraunt.

My waitress was really nice at first but as my dinner went on she seemed to forget about me and not care. But anyway this was my B-day/celebration of vacation dinner so I went all out. But I didn't try the Lapu-Lapu...a sin I know to some of you Dis'ers. But I did have a "sand in the pants"! Anyway the meal was very good, specially the pineapple bread and macadamia nut butter!!!! mmmm

So the meal was delicious but the service not so great as I said. By the time I finished my meal it was still early to head over to DTD so I headed out to the beach to see if there was a swing open. Sure enough there was.

Let me just say that it is the most relaxing thing to sit in the hammock. I could seriously stay there all day.

After relaxing for a bit it was time to start making my way to DTD. I headed out to the bus stop and waited no more than 10 minutes and I was on my way. When I got off the bus it was 8:15 and I made my way down to the Cirque "tent" taking pictures along the way of course.

By the time I made it down to Cirque they were already letting people in. So I hopped in line and made my way to my seat. The show started promptly at 9 and it was fantastic. I've already seen it before so it wasn't as breath taking but still amazing none the less. I think because I have seen it the element of suprise was gone. Sorry no pictures of Cirque since no pics are allowed. But it really was a spectacular show!

After Cirque I was so tired. It had been a long day with no sleep and I was just ready for the bed. I made my way back to the bus and before I knew it I was back at CBR in my bed and dreaming of cruising the next day.

Aww, love the pictures from the Polynesian...we used to ALWAYS stay there. Brings back memories.

Cirque is another thing that we have never done in all our trips to WDW but it seems really cool. It's another thing on our list of things to do in the future!

Your dinner at Kona looked yummy, sorry to hear about the service though. DTD sounded like it was fun. Up next, cruising, can't wait to read and see more.

May 15th

My wake up call came promptly came at 7:15 and Mickey and Stitch were on the other line telling me to get up. I had to have all my luggage ready by 8 when someone would be by to take it to the port. This was a nice feature not having to lug my luggage all the way to the cruise check in desk. The cruise line luggage CM ended up not coming till 8:25 which was fine because I didn't have anything planned for the morning. I relaxed in my room a bit before heading out to check out. Around 9:30 I decided to head out and what was outside my door...these cute little bunnies.

I made my way back to the check in building and within 5 minutes I was checked out and ready for some breakfast. I then took the internal shuttle to Old Port Royale where the quick service and gift shop are. The one thing I hated about this resort is how everything was so seperate. I'm so use to the values where everything is all in one building. Also coming back to the resort the night before it was just too quiet for me. I like the family atmosphere and I just didn't feel that at CBR. Anyway I headed to get some breakfast at OPR.

Mmmm gotta have at least one every trip!

After breakfast I still had time to kill before the 12:00 cruise bus check in. I cruised the gift shop buying a CBR pin and then headed out to soak up some sun.

Rather than sit out on the patio I headed right to the beach and found that it was empty. It was so peaceful and relaxing.

And of course heres another picture of my feet. If you have read my other TR's you would of noticed I seem to take a lot of pictures of my feet so please don't mind them.

After some relaxing it was time to check in for the DCL bus. Check in was right infront of the Shutter's resturant at OPR they actually use the resturant check in desk. I was the second one there checking in and they gave me the number 3 bus pass and a welcome navigator. Everyone checking in then went into the resturant for a seat till the busses arrived. At 12:20 the busses came and we walked out to load the busses.

They put half the group in one and half in the other. After everyone was on we were off to SSR to pick up more cruisers. By the time we were actually on our way to port it was around 1. Now I told B and K before heading down to FL that I would most likely be at port at 1:30. Turns out that wasn't going to be the case since it was an hour and 20 min ride. I gave them a quick call and told them they didn't have to wait for me and they could go ahead and check in.

The ride went smooth and they played a DCL movie to get everyone in the mood. I was so excited and couldn't believe today was actually the day. After waiting over a year for the cruise we were going to set sail in a matter of hours. Like I said the ride was smooth and before I knew it I could see the ship from the highway!!!

I got goosebumps I was just so excited!

The bus pulled up to the Disney Cruise welcome check in center and a DCL cm came on our bus to get us pumped up for our trip. After a little pep talk the bus unloaded and I was off to go check in and get my room key!

Fun update!

I stayed at CBR the day before my last cruise. We loved just lounging in the hammocks the day before. It was so relaxing!
