How much of the show do you see from the California Grill? How can you see the projections on the castle or hear the music?

It’s a pretty good view. We had a table by the window once, and once we did not. By the window we had a perfect view. They pipe in the music and have a viewing deck outside as well.

You can barely see the projections. The music is piped into the restaurant and the outside patios. The view of fireworks is excellent.

This will show you. You can see the castle and lights but not so much of the details.

It is a real treat, a great perspective for the fireworks and I'd readily do any trip.

So depends on if you have ever seen it before or will see it more than once your trip.

I watched Hallowishes from the viewing deck after eating there earlier in the evening. Thought it was amazing, but that's a show with few projections. I enjoyed seeing what was set off at the castle and what was set off further back. It's a really cool POV. And the finale of Hallowishes is awesome from that vantage point. I forgot how big it got!

If you know HEA well, it would be a fun alternate perspective. If you haven't seen it before, I'd suggest watching from MK first.

I loved watching Wishes from the left balcony at California Grill. Watching HEA is still really good. They pipe in the music. The fireworks, while off center are really good. The problem is HEA does a LOT of projections on the castle and you can't see any of that. So, with the new show, you miss a lot by not being on Mainstreet.
