Hannah Montanna @ Typhoon Lagoon?

We are going the last two weeks of July. My daughter keeps talking about Hannah Montanna (Miley Cyrus from Disney Channel show) appearing at Typhoon Lagoon. She called me in last night as a commerical was playing, but I only caught the end. Does anyone know if this is true?

Yes it's true but I believe the concert is for radio disney in Tampa and it's June 22nd! I'm not sure if she'll be there any other dates.

I don't know exactly where it will be held, but a local agent has been casting extras for the commercial. Here is the notice that went out. The last I heard, they were not taking any more kids.

Hello all,
I am looking for 600 kids between the ages of 9-14 years for a Hannah Montana Concert, on Thursday,June 22, from about 8am-1pm. It is at a water park..and you get to stay in the park for the rest of the day if you would like. You also get a ticket to come back to another time to Epcot, Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, or MGM Studios.
I am taking carloads that have the most children in it, first. Another words....I need a lot more children then adults...so please fill your car with kids. They must be within the correct age range. NO little kids allowed!
There is an information sheet attached. You must get a confirmation back from me to know you are on the list. You will be bused to the water park...so there are lots of directions/info still to come.
Please email me names, ages, and name of chaperone. If you don' t hear back from me right away...be patient...I am taking the largest carloads of kids first.

omg! We were already planning to do TL either the 21st or 22nd! My girls would just die!!! Is there any way to get them in on this?? Will tix be sold? It doesn't sound like it but I can hope!!!

I just saw and heard about this, just a little bit ago on the Disney Channel( Disney's So Hot Summer 365) and it said that they would be showing more updates and stuff on the Disney Channel, so I wonder if that means that they will show be showing it on t.v. live too( or it least the tape of it). I love the Hannah Montanna show and I love the song, you get the best of both worlds! I love it I guess, for all the Guitar playing in the song( as I play the Guitar too)!

From what I've heard, they will be giving some tickets away on Radio Disney. Other than that, you had to be booked through a local agent. The agent has announced that she is not accepting any more extras. The children had to be between 9 and 14 years old.

THanks! We are on our way now! We will listen to radio disney non-stop. My girls are 10 and 11 and this would make the trip for them!!!
