Here are a few of the ones I took. I took my purse camera, it's a Panasonic DMC-LZ3, they were all taken in party setting.

I have more but Photobucket just crashed on me!

Also, we got our tickets three days before the show through ticketmaster, so if the show hasn't been there yet, don't give up!

We were on the flooor, probably about 15 rows from the "T" (30 rows from the main part of the stage.

I have an XT and switched back and forth between a Canon 85mm 1.8 and Sigma 18-125 3.5/5.6. The pics I posted are cropped in for closeup of Miley. I was able to get the Canon shots at ISO 400, but bumped the Sigma shots at 125mm to ISO 800.

I was pretty pleased with them.

Without embarrasing myself - pretty good concert too.

One other thing I forgot to mention...

I called the venue ahead of time to ask about SLR cameras because I had read that some places/performers don't want professionals taking pictures at shows and many people see an SLR and assume it's a pro. The venue said SLRs were fine. However, a friend of ours got stopped at security and had to leave her camera at the office. I got through security fine, and was taking pictures for 2/3 of the show when one of the ushers told me that detachable lenses weren't allowed. I told him I called ahead and the office said I was fine, but he said no.

So I put my camera away (and got it back out a few times when that one usher wasn't around ).
