Hannah Montana Rules the World! TONS OF PICS, UPDATE 11/1!

How exciting to add TWO tickers!

It sounds like so much fun to go with your BFF. So cool that you've been buds since you were 10!

On my trip, I will be going with my BFF, and we'll be celebrating our 10 year "anniversary"...I thought we were the only weirdos who celebrate the anniversary of their friendship!

: The pirate boat pulled up to the dock and the kids all got off as their name was called. I couln't find my receipt so they made me wait. You KNOW that annoyed me! As they let her off I asked for a lunch for Cooper since I paid for $29 for it and they offered his treasure as well. I almost didn't take it but decided to and maybe use it as a bargaining weapon :stir: . Bella ABSOLUTLEY loved the cruise, she was totally floating on a cloud talking about it AND her new BFF. Who, incidentley told her that Vanessa Hudgens got fired from HSM3 (please, please, please don't tell me she told you about the naked pics of her online) and that Zac Efron quit HSM3. Now, I am the celebrity gossip queen and check about 7 sites online about 10 times a day (sick, I know!) and knew that that probably wasn't true but since I hadn't had much computer access wan't positive. I was also praying she didn't tell her about the fresh rumor going around that Hannah Montana was pregnant. She didn't thank goodness, don't want to splain THAT one! We walked up to the monorail and tried to get in the front but it was full already, bummer!

We got off and walked down the ramp to where Pierre and Cooper were sitting and Cooper came up to me, gave me a hug and kiss and said he was sorry he acted like that. Don't worry, I said sorry too! I gave him the lunch and told him he could get the treasure at the end of the day if he behaved. Bella was bragging about the cruise, a bit excessively cause you KNOW I told her to lay it on thick, and you know what? It was worth spending the 60 bucks on just her to do it! Really, it was!

We went into MK and I saw a photopass photog and asked if they still did the Tink picture :tinker: . I wanted it to be just the kids but he had us all get in and placed their hands together. You know that grossed them out! I didn't tell any of them why they had to touch hands BUT when we got home and looked online at the pics they thought it was SO cool. Bella said "I KNEW I felt something on my hands!" Ahh, gotta love her!

Cooper's favorite ride of all the parks was Splash Mountain so we went there first and got in line. Within 5 mins we were directed to our log and they placed me in the front seat. Uh, no-friggin-way! Me and Cooper switched with Pierre and Bella. She was all over that! I really did NOT want to go on again but sucked it up for their sake. Cooper was being really silly the whole ride, back to his normal self! Bella was her obnoxious self. Shocker.

I tell you what, I HATE that last drop! I put my knees up on the seat in front of us (like, what's that going to do for me anyways??!!), locked my arms, shut my eyes and screamed. Not diggin' it, that's for sure! I really wanted a picture of the 4 of us on a ride so we took a look and it came out awesome! We ended up getting the poster size so it's framed and up on the wall now, looks SO cool!

DSC02421.jpg

We hit up BTMRR to use our FP's next. I love this ride! I sat with Bella and we had our arms up almost the whole time.

IMG019.jpg

Pierre snagged this one of the castle when he got to the top.

IMG022_0001.jpg

Just as we came off the ride and walked out it was raining. We ran over to the stroller and got the umbrella and ponchos out JUST in time. It came down in buckets, fast and furious! So many poor and unprepared people (losers) were standing without anything and getting drenched. They must not be Dis'er's. Don't you KNOW you MUST bring raingear?! Me and my smugself decided it was lunch time so we headed to Pecos Bill since I had heard good reviews. It was pretty corwded in there because of the rain but a CM showed us the nifty computer where I could key in our order. Cool! Can I check my email? :surfweb: I plugged in our order and went to find some seats while Pierre waited for the food. Another CM found an empty table for me near the back, boy was it dark back there! I flagged down Pierre and we dove into our lunch. I got the chicken salad since I LOVE lime dressing and Pierre got the chicken wrap. We both got the peanut butter brownie and shared those with the kids. They were FABULOUS!!!!! :goodvibes I love peanut butter so I was all over that andeven the brownie was good. I hate chocolate cake and brownies normally so that says alot! This meal was a hit and we'll definetly go here again!

When we left the rain had thankfully let up so off to POTC which was another Cooper request. pirate: Don't you know he LOVES pirates? grrrrrrrr.

3cef.jpg

Bella had some secret plans to jump Jack for his treasure so she was all for it! I asked the guy to seat us in the dream seats. He didn't laugh. I tried. They loved the ride again and Cooper got a kick out of yelling at the guy sitting on the bridge that his feet are gross and dirty. I had to keep a hand on Bella when we got to the end where Jack is sitting with his treasure. "Nice place, Jack, I want your gold and money!" Cooper was yelling at him to give it all to his sister. He's so thoughtful!

Off to Toon Town which was closed the other night. We did the requisite Mickey and Minnie's house. I was looking for the "Mousechusetts" banner but didn't see it, s'up? Pierre is from MA. We rushed them through because it was busy but snagged some pics. The line for Mickey was huge and I wasn't waiting in it, much to their chagrain.

IMG017_0001.jpg

We went across the street to Goofy's Barnstormer, whipped through the line and jumped in a seat in front of the kids. They weren't too happy about sitting together but I wanted a pic of just them. Man, that ride is FAST! I'd be really pissed if I stood in a big line, dripping with sweat and that's all I got! It was over in about 30 seconds!

IMG015_0001.jpg

We left TT and the kids were getting a little grumpy  and wanted to do everything in the park because it was sinking in that it was our last day in MK. They both wanted to do the Indy Speedway so we got in line and it took about 10 minutes to get through. I let Cooper sit in the drivers seat to control the wheel and I did the pedals. BIG MISTAKE. That sucker is hard to control! OMG! I couldn't believe it and it was even harder trying to get straightned out after you hit the side. Yeah, can't really say I was a fan of that one. Jeez, you can barely see his head, no wonder we kept crashing.

IMG013_0001.jpg

IMG014_0001.jpg

IMG012_0001.jpg

Cooper really wanted to do Dumbo :dumbo: and Bella was all about spinning in the teacups so we split up. While Cooper and I waited in line it started to thunder really loud and they warned that the ride might have to close down. Good idea, as I didn't want to get fried while I was sitting on a metal ride in the air. Luckily we made it though with no incident and Cooper was SO happy. This was his favorite ride last year and I think we got a blue Dumbo so even better since that's his fav. color! This week anyways.

IMG011.jpg

Bella and Pierre got a slushy drink while they were waiting for us and the grump was coming out big time! Bella wanted to sit in the stroller so I let her and Cooper had to act like his legs were broken and he couldn't walk. He's lucky they weren't.... She didn't want to share her drink and watched him like a hawk while he took a sip. I tried to have some fun with her and run while she was sitting but that didn't fly to well. Pain in the butt. At least it got her out of the stroller. That sucker is hard to push when a 67 pounder is in it! We did indeed walk on Buzz and they loved it again! Pierre was desperate to leave after this but they begged to do Monsters Inc. How can you not when it's right next door AND airconditioned! He hemmed and hawed a bit but it didn't take long before we went in. It wasn't as funny this time around but the kids liked yelling out along with Mike. Like you'd think MY kids wouldn't?!

I was tired and annoyed with everyone in my family when we left the park today. I think the realization that we were going home tomorrow  was starting to sink in and it was SUCH a perfectly fantastic vacation (with the exception of the morning) that I didn't want to end.

So guess where we headed off to tonight? Bella has been looking forward to this one ALLLLLLLl week, actually alot longer than that!

Great update! I love all your photos.

I feel the same way about Splash Mountain! Why did they have to ruin a perfectly great ride with that mother of a drop at the end?!!! The photo did turn out great though! :thumbsup2

I'm going to be booking Cirque tickets today for a bunch of us in December. I always choose to take my kids to a show as a present for birthdays since it means one less piece of crap laying around as well as exposing them to the arts. This is the first time a whole group will be going though because Cooper wants his birthday there so we'll have a family celebration and cake before we go or maybe at a restaurant near the theater. I need to find someone who can do the La Nouba image on a cake. I also bid on a La Nouba lanyard pin and won a DVD of La Nouba, not too early to start working on Christmas!

Sooooooo, I MAY be adding a new ticker or 2 to my trip report! In Jan we will be booking a DCL trip for Aug 09 to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. We never had a honeymoom so I am VERY excited about that. It will be my family, my sister's family, Bob and hopefully my younger sister Katie. I've been thinking about categories and based on the cheaper (like THAT word can be used to describe a Disney cruise :lmao: ) price we'll either do two cat. 4's and fight over who gets to bunk with Bob Or Katie OR two cat.8's and two cat. 12's.

My other possibility which was talked about for the first time yesterday is me and my longest, closest friend going for a 2 nighter next June during our birthdays. We've been best friends since 4th grade and this year was our 25 year "anniversary" and our 35th birthdays which are 2 days apart. We planned on a big rager at the casino and we going to get a room, etc. Yeah. Didn't happen. We only went out for dinner and were back at home by like 10 pm. Still had a great time but couldn't hack the partying :rotfl2: So she's never been to Disney (I know :sad2: can you IMAGINE!!!) and has been reading my report and wants to go! Yay me, my plan worked MMMMWWWWAAHHHHH!!!!!!! So I'm thinking a value resort for 2 nights, arriving on her birthday and leaving on mine doing EITHER 2 parks or La Nouba and Downtown Disney arrival day and Epcot on our full day. I am going to leave all of that kind of stuff up to her but I will do the meal bookings and actual park planning. Sooooooo I want to know the best places to eat in World Showcase for dinner or should I use 2 TS and eat at California Grill in the CR so we can watch the Wishes from there? Opinions please!!!!!!! Also which value is the coolest for 2 adults? :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: SO PSYCHED!

Okay. Lot to discuss here. I've been on 4 DCL--2-3day, 1-4 day and a 7 day Eastern. I can't wait to do another one.

Staterooms

I guess it all boils down to if you really want to balcony or not. It's nice at the end of the day to unwind on the balcony or wake up first thing in the morning and sit outside. Cat 4-7 generally are in better locations as well.
The family staterooms have a bit more space so that's a plus as well.

That said, I stayed in a cat 11 inside stateroom on my own and it was PERFECT for me. I happened to have the only cat 11 on Deck 7 close to an elevator bank/stairs--very convenient. Stateroom 7009. Very quiet, except for the baggage storage room right next to my room. Noisy. I didn't mind it.

The wdwinfo.com has a section for the DCL. If you look for deck plans, go there. Look at deck 6 or 7. I would try and get an outside stateroom with an inside stateroom directly across. Getting stateroom request is much easier on DCL.

I have SO much more info...but we've got time;)

Girl's Birthday Trip

I am an advocate for 3 night trips. I really don't count travel days too much because your mindset is slightly different on those days. Although on arrival day, the adrenaline is pumping and it's reaally fun. However, on departure day no matter how late you leave and how much you get done, in the back of your mind, you know you're leaving. IF you can swing it w/ the DH and kids and $$$, I would do 3 nights. That gives you 2 full days to show your friend around WDW.

In addition, your itinerary could look something like this:

Day 1[/U]
Arrive on Friends birthday in the AM
Check into POP (that's my choice)
Have fun showing friend around WDW
Nice Birthday dinner w/ lots of booze
Sleep/Pass out whatever the case may be

Day 2
Sleep in (take it when you can get it)
Check out a few parks
Dinner
DTD
Movie?

Day 3, your birthday

Who knows
Nice dinner.
Light it up
Pass out

Day 4
Sleep in
Check out
parks:?
Fly out.

My suggestions for food: Le Cellier, Chefs de France, perhaps the new restaurants @ the Japan Pavilion. Resorts: Cal Grill and Flying Fish Cafe

Okay...that's enough for now.

How exciting that you are going on a Disney cruise! I am going on one next December and I am so excited about it!

Love the Splash Mountain photo. I love the drop on Splash but I always have this irrational fear that I am going to fall out since I don't have a bar or belt strapping me in.:rotfl:

I'm a bit blue thinking that your TR is almost over.:sad1:

When are you going to start your girl's birthday trip PTR?

Can you just start making stuff up and extend your TR by a week or two?

Not sure of CG cause I have never eaten there but that sounds nice. I would do 2 parks. If she has never been then show her the parks. Downtown Disney is basically a mall. Show the true Disney. :rotfl2:
We just got our Cirque tix for here in the city for December 9th. :woohoo:

Yeah, I was thinking 2 parks as well. :woohoo: on your tix!

Lucky girl - you're going back already! OK, I know that there are other choices in the WS, but we ate dinner at the Rose & Crown with a seating towards the water and had a great view of Illuminations. Lynn and Abby tried one of their beer flights, and that was fun. Abby found out that the piece of fish in their fish and chips was enough to feed an army, or at least two people quite comfortably - but it was very good, and I don't even particularly like fish. We also did do CG, and the food and service were wonderful. Depending on where you are in the dining room, the view for Wishes may not be all that great inside, but they will work with you and hold your meal so that you can go out on the observation deck, where there is an incredible view of the MK and Wishes. Also, I think that you can eat before or after Wishes and still use the observation deck. Given the choices, I would go for the Rose & Crown, as you are already planning an Epcot day. Darn, there are just so many good choices, and so little time!

I have plenty of time to decide, that's for sure (if we even go but I'm thinking we will!) I've heard loads of good things about R and C! Any alchohol flight soudsn good, right?!

Nope, you're not the only ones Julie! I know, we've been friends forever! You are SO close to your trip!

Love the Splash pics!

And that IS one huge drop! I wish I could zoom in on Cooper's face cause he looks so intense and is leaning forward, defying gravity! ;)

I looked yesterday and think I am going to go with a cat 8 and get Bob a 12. I can't do a verandah, I don't care how tall the railing is, it just makes me too nervous. A friend of mine took a Disney cruise a couple years a go and her dd2 propped the bed ladder up to the balcony and started to climb it. Dad came out of the bathroom and caught her. I just saw that the Japanese restaurant reopened. We do  sushi! so that is a huge possibility/probability! Hmmm, if we do 3 nights we get 3 TS. 2 for CG and 1 for Teppanyaki, sounds good!

Hi Lessa, thanks! Are you going on your cruise with your family? Is it in 2008? Ifeel the same way on Splash!

I'm a bit blue thinking that your TR is almost over.:sad1:

I know, me too! I need some more readers to chatter away and make it last! LURKERS, CHECK IN!!! I lost some of my pretrip readers! :sad1: I do have some good endings planned. We will be doing a pre-trip for our girls outing, Right, Ecogirl??!! Stop lurking!!! :lmao:

Love the Splash pics!

Thanks Hedy! :)

:thumbsup2 Love the pics Leyla, especially the one of you all on Splash. You look truly scared. :scared1: It's great how you got pictures while on the rides. I wish we would have got more like that. They are so fun to look at. :goodvibes

You are going to need to give me a recap of your upcoming trips! popcorn::

Hi Lessa, thanks! Are you going on your cruise with your family? Is it in 2008? Ifeel the same way on Splash!

I am going on the 7 night eastern Dec 6, 2008. It is a mother/daughter cruise at the moment unless one of the boys change their minds/get out of school. Unfortunately that probably won't happen as the beginning of December is exam time.:sad2: Maybe I can convince the brothers to add a cruise onto our 2010 vacation.

We do  sushi!

If you do, then from what I understand CG would be the place for you for that - Supposedly Yoshi, their sushi chef is one of the best in the country, and that a lot of people go to CG only for her sushi. Abby knows more about her than I do. But there are so many good choices, how can you go wrong?

Hi Leyla
How exciting! 2 trips planned! I would love to do a DC one day and theres so much fun to have in Disney on a girls only trip!
Loved the Splash photos, they're great! You were so lucky with hardly any waits, we've always waited about an hour for Indy Speedway.
Peco Bills sounds great, I never thought of it before but will definately try it out!
Hope you get the next chapter up soon!

I pasted it right above Jenny. :) I got loads of good ride pics, the ones in my last installment were from a disposable so they didn't come out that good. My digital ones from the start of the trip came out much better, not sure if you've had a chance to look yet but I have an index on the first page! I WAS totally scared on that last drop!

How cool! I wish I had a relationship with my Mom :sad1: No worries though, Bob is great. Mostly. :rolleyes1 I need to catch up on your report, I have tomorrow off so will be able to!

Good to know, thanks Fred! This is where I really want to eat based on reviews I've read and the fact that we can see the fireworks! I saw Abby updated, yay!

Hi Ruthie! It's certainly a heck of alot cheaper, I'm so psyched just pricing it out :yay: I will NOT be telling the kids where we are going. It will be spa getaway as far as they are concerned :cool2: . Peco's was a hit for us! Tour Guide Mike is great and worth the $20 or whatever it is, to wait in as few lines. I'm not sure if that really helped us because crowds were low but...

How cool! I wish I had a relationship with my Mom :sad1: No worries though, Bob is great. Mostly. :rolleyes1 I need to catch up on your report, I have tomorrow off so will be able to!

 Aww Leyla. That is sad but I am glad that you have a really loving family that adores you.

Love the update,Leyla.:goodvibes

The pictures are great and looking forward to reading more.I hate to see this end...:guilty:

Word of the day: shamditioner- a shampoo/conditioner mix. When I told Bella to use it last night she said "oh, you mean use the shamditioner?"

 Aww Leyla. That is sad but I am glad that you have a really loving family that adores you.

Sadly, I'm used to no relationship there but you are right, the rest of the fam is great!

Love the update,Leyla.:goodvibes

Hi Amy, me too, I'm going to be bummed when I'm done. BUT, it drives me crazy that some reports are dragged out, some on purposefully. I'm going to work on one today when Cooper goes to school.

So many poor and unprepared people (losers)

OMG-- thats so funny. mean, but funny!

Your pics are awsome.....the one of splash mtn is very good, I would have blown that one up as well. Shoot, I am usally up to date on alot of celeberty gossip but none that you mentione about the kids suff! I need to be more on top of it i guess.
Im glad bella had a good time on the cruise, you know I have yet to get my kids carmeras developed to see what pics they got on there cruise-Ill do that tommrrow!!

I got them each a camera and there were only 3 on Bella's that came out, 2 from the bus and one of me with shorts and no top on. Can't be postin' THAT one! I gave her the camera to take on the pirate cruise but she forgot to take pics. I should develop Cooper's, he did pretty good with the digital. Do you ever check out perezhilton.com? This is a link for that stuff I was telling you about. http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P188249&categoryId=C10480
