Magic Kingdom day!
I woke up nice and early, actually I woke up several times during the night because my legs were unbelievably itchy, and made a pot of coffee. I checked out my legs and they looked pretty rough, covered in bumps I couldn't help but scratch. The kids woke up about 6:30 and Bella declared she needed to go for a swim. I said I'd take her (pickin' my battles) because I knew darn well I'd have to hear her moaning and groaning about going to the pool ALL day. We decided on 10 mins tops and she was good with that. She and I hit the pool at TS, marveling over the sunrise on the beach. In for the dip and after 5 mins I saw what I thought was a drifting leaf in the water near her leg but it was moving kinda fast. I told her to go to the edge and the thing FOLLOWED her!

I pointed it out and she couldn't get her buns outta there fast enough. It swam right to the edge where we were so we moved and it STILL followed us!!! Two more times!!! She was all set with the pool. I told her to jump in on the other end (just so it would seem like I was encouraging the pool

) knwing full well she wouldn't. Look at this sucker!
We had a snack in the room and went over to the bus stop to get the bus to the Magic Kingdom and got here by 8:30, later than what I wanted but still good. We walked onto Main Street and I caught a picture of Bob seeing Cinderella's castle for the first time,

I wish I could see his face better in the pic though. His jaw just dropped! I must tell you that last month I read a really good book about an Iranian woman and her life growing up in Iran, Austria and USA and how each time she thought of America she imagined Mickey Mouse would be at the airport to greet her. I'm sure that my Dad felt some of that too!
It was a LOEMH day so we headed straight for Fantasyland. Now if you like any of the rides over there you MUST take advantage of these hours! Amazing and frees you up for the good stuff later. I decided that Mickey's Philharmagic

would set the tone for the day and did it ever! Pierre was quiet just before we went in which is a sure sign of low sugar (for him, if you knew him...) so I tossed him a granola bar. Cooper slid his glasses down his nose a few times but loved it! We hit up Winnie the Pooh

next and Pierre was given a time pass.
I think it was less than a 5 minutes wait. Next up was Peter Pan which I had never done before but thought it was cute. Cooper thought some parts were scary and wanted off but again declared it as AWESOME! when we were done. They didn't want to do much else in Fantasyland and it was time for the rest of the park to be opened so we headed over to Splash Mountain. On the way over the money finally managed to burn through their pockets and into the hands of a girl selling Mickey ears. Bob got a new hat too, good thing, the old one stank!
We got to Splash and I grabbed FP's for BTMRR. Splash was walk-on baybees!

Cooper wasn't sure at first but I told him we would go on the *cough*cough* easy side, you know? The one with no drop...

We got on our log and drifted off, me and Coop were in front of Bella and Pierre and Bob held up the rear.
I can be honest and say I didn't really care for it, it's kind of old but the kids loved it. Bella, of course, stood up in her seat towards the end stating it was great and wanted to get back on immediatley. Cooper was yelling that it was SWEET! Pierre and Bob really liked it too. We got off and wandered a little looking for coffee and I heard Woody's Cowboy getting started so I tried to rush Cooper over. MELTDOWN number 1, my peeps! Not having any of that bizniz! He do NOT like Woody (news to me) and tossed his body around a couple of times pretty much ruining it for us. Guess the old character thing isn't gonna fly this time.

Here comes Grandpa acting like the hero he thinks he is... Anyways, I ignore him and we headed back to BTMRR.
S'up P-dog with the Mickey ears?!
A few ride shots
I thought this ride was great! I was nervous but my friend said it was her 4 year olds favorite ride so I can't wimp out! Cooper sat between me and Bob and that thing took off like a rocket! Bella, of course, was screaming "that was off the HOOK!" when we got off. Poor Bob needed some help, guy did NOT feel good.
I really wanted to go in the Haunted Mansion since it just reopened so we left Cooper (much to his dismay, he didn't want me to go on a scary ride) and Bob at the Country Bear Jamboree. Bella decided at the last second to go on it but was regretting it when she was in line.

Too late kiddo! We had about a 15 minute wait here till we hopped our Doombuggy. I did it last year but can't really recall what was changed. I think Bella only took about 4 breaths the whole ride. We went to collect the rest of our gang and Cooper was miserably sitting in the stroller. Bob said he didn't want to see the CBJ, oh well, not my problem! It was getting close to our lunch ressies at Crystal Palace so we headed over. Cooper drooled over the McDonalds fry stand. Shocker. On our way I got FP's for the Jungle Cruise which I've always thought was pretty cute, corny, yes, but still cute!
Up next, lunch at CP and will Cooper EVER talk to another character again?
