That chicken for dinner looks awesome, Reminds me of the crusted chicken we had at DTD at Planet Hollywood.

Sorry everyone was laughing at you that night.

Here is a serious face for you :)

It was SO good. Thanks for the serious face!

We sat at the same table at CP on 8/29/07.:rotfl2:

:rotfl:

Coming up this morning!

Leyla,

I almost spit my coffee out!!!!! Those sleeping pictures are great and hilarious, especially the one w/ the phone.....:lmao: :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I'm still laughing by the way.

I will have to go to Pucks even if it's just for that martini. I am a big fan of grapefruit. So I am sure I will like the Ruby Red.

Two updates back to back. Gotta love that!!!!!:thumbsup2

Still laughing.:rotfl2:

thanks for the shout out.

Jordan

You HAVE to get the drink! Glad you liked the sleepy pics!

Awsome trip report. It looks like your family is having a great time. I can't wait to read more!!:cool1:

Thanks! We had the BEST time! More coming this morning!

Hahahaha.....too funny on the dream team sightings! We called it "stalking the dream team"! You know, circling the ride and going on it again and talking nice and asking where they were heading! But did our stradegy work? You'll have to read to find out!

I know, Eevrytime I saw them I think I drove Pierre nuts. He got into it too though, a little.

Thanks Amy! I'm going to try and do 3 more this morning! PI started a little later than what I would have liked, I'm always in bed by 9 or so. I'm SUCH a party animal!

We had about 15 minutes and I spotted Mike and Sully so asked the kids if they wanted to get a quick pic as the line was short. I cannot even imagine having to wear one Sully's costume!!! :scared: Thank goodness he had a fan on him. Doubt it helped much but...better than nothing! Would you guys get ready for the pic?! I worry too much about speeding the lines along!

DSC02253.jpg

Okay, now we're ready

DSC02254.jpg

After about 5 minutes our skater girl called out for the L family and we followed her inside. Sans Pierre. He has a bad habit of wandering off when we go somewhere ogether and it's SO annoying! We get to our table, I mean car, and it's pink which gets Bella totally excited. I had forgotten how dark it was in there which I did NOT like when trying to read the menu. Like Farrah said I thought it was very quiet, certainly more than any other meal we had at WDW! I had to go outside and finally tracked down Pierre, he had gotten a frozen mocha that so really good, nice and refreshing! I was paying OOP for my meal this time since I was doing 1 more TS than everyone else. Our waiter was Moroccan so you know Bob had to go through his whole shpiel again. :rolleyes1 Here's Bob and Cooper, they were driving.

DSC02256.jpg

Me and Bella were in the middle and Pierre held up the rear. Cooper got off and held onto the bumper a couple of times. Musta thought he was Michael J. Fox doin' a little skateboarding!

DSC02257.jpg

Pierre got the artichoke dip for an appy that was SO yummy. Bella got pizza that she didn't like, which is usually the case since she loves the pizza from Bob's pizza joint. She chomped away on her apple slices. I got the smoked turkey sandwich and it was delicious, alot like the one I had gotten from OPR. All of a sudden she tells me her tooth came out. Now she says this all the time and then says "ha ha made you look" but it's for real this time. The waiter got her some more napkins and told us that in his country you take the tooth, make a wish and toss it. Yeah, that's cute and all but doesn't involve the Tooth Fairy. Or Tink. Who you know hooks up with the Tooth Fairy for teeth lost in Disney. He came back from the kitchen and told her to close her eyes which she did and when she opened them he had a light up Tink :tinker: in front of her face. She was SO surprised and it was super nice of him to do that. See, Farrah, same tooth, same joint! :lmao:

DSC02259.jpg

Everyone liked the food and desserts here but Bella was itching for the pool so Pierre decided to take her back to CBR and Cooper wanted to stay with me and Bob. We went over to do the Magic of Animation and we all thought it was pretty funny. I've never seen Mulan, is that where Mushu is from? He's a trip! I'll have to Netflix that one. The Ratatouille rat was out after the show and Cooper decided the rat was worthy of a meeting so him and Bob got in line. My camera was acting up so I didn't get any shots but I think Bob got a photopass card from them. I may have to add that in. Or not. Sometimes I get lazy. Cooper loved playing with computers in there, of course. We headed back to the hotel after that since Bella and I were going to Epcot for our princess dinner and the guys were going to La Nouba. Cooper said several times he didn't want to go. Great, heeeeeere we go again. Must ignore and not make eye contact.

Cooper and I got off the bus at OPR and Bob went back to rest up for an hour. I saw the tatoo stand that was there and noticed a big selection of Hannah tatoos. Maybe Tink can hook her up with one of those? I had to drag Bella out of the pool and we raced back to the room to get ready. Cooper was in the midst of MELTDOWN #3 about not wanting to go to Cirque. Anyone who knows him, knows he is OBSESSED with Cirque and has been talking about La Nouba for the last 18 months. he bounces all over our couches, does flips, and thinks he's a member of the troupe. Like before, I just don't make eye contact and think I may have told him a lie, saying it was a boys night and he was only going to Legoland (he totally sweats that place). I'm such a liar! :rolleyes1 Me and Bella take off for Epcot.

Of course every kid has to bounce this at least once. Or 30 times.

DSC02266.jpg

The first thing we did was grab FP's for Test Track. Boy is that thing loud! And fast! We walked onto Mission Space, green side of course. She could probably handle the orange side since she loves to spin but if she's going with me there ain't no spinnin' involved, thankyouverymuch. Ask my friend Cory about the town fair, ooooh, not good. :scared1: Astronaut Bella. She was jabbering on to the people next to us, talking smack on TOT, how it was boring. She's too much.

DSC02262.jpg

Anyways, we got our own capsule and it was a pretty cool ride. I could have handled more but definetly no spinning. We left MS and headed over to the World Showcase, hitting up Mexico first. How beautiful is it inside that building??!! OMG! I am absolutley eating in there next time we go! Had to take a hat picture!

DSC02268.jpg

We wanted to do the boatride but didn't have enough time before our dinner ressies so we were going to come back for that. Off to Norway! I checked into Akershus and had about a 15 minute wait so we went into the store. Shocker. Look what I found! It's not spelled the same but cool, nontheless.

DSC02271.jpg

Bella spotted the Kidcot stop and made a mask. She loves doing arts and crafts so it was really fun for her.

DSC02269.jpg

Up next: Akershus and the rest of Epcot. Did Cooper make it to La Nouba?

So glad I made an ADR at Sci Fi.

Great update.

:thumbsup2

Great update!

Love the one of the ball! Everybody has to bounch that ball! Everyone!

I had to drag her outta there and outside, so we didn't miss our name being called. RRRRRRoyal Family L. Oh, my, aren't we posh? We go inside and get in the line for Belle while I keep an eye out for Dis'er Carrie who might still have been in there but I didn't spot her. Belle was wearing her yellow dress which was a big disappointment, Bella loves the blue dress. You know, the more practical one that you can probably get good and dirty in playing outside. She's still excited to see her though and Belle notices her shirt which is the one from Broadway and says her name is very close to hers. This is our first trip that Bella actually meets her so it's sweet watching her face light up. Of course I notice Belle's front tooth is chipped so there goes my illusion. I notice teeth on people and will admit I love me some Crest Whitestrips.

DSC02273.jpg

We are seated to the left but in the MIDDLE of the restaurant this time! :woohoo: Our waitress was adorable! So friendly, but I thought the service was slow. So were the princesses but maybe that was planned out? Anyways, I ordered the Fairy Tale wine which I didn't expect to be sparkling but was quite good. A nice change actually! I also got a water and it was a Vos, how fancy! We got some starters from the buffet and since I like smoked salmon I was pretty happy. I tried a couple of other things too and like most of them. The stuff I ate on the trip was all stuff I would not normally eat and I'm glad I did that. Nice to expand the horizons, in'it? I got the poached cod for my main course and Bella got the pasta and meatballs. I LOVED mine! She really enjoyed hers too but her Uncle Anthony makes better meatballs in his grinder shop. :hippie:

DSC02276.jpg

DSC02275.jpg

We waited a hella long time for those princesses! Guess they had to spackle on more makeup. A waitress came around with the photo from Belle and said it was $31 for the 1 picture. After he picked me up off the floor I said no thanks, all set. Finally Ariel came out and made her way around. She got to our table and talked a hundred miles an hour but everything she said was spot on! Bella had them all sign her Kidcot mask which looks really cute displayed. Bella asked her if she knew Tink and if she did can she let her know she had lost a tooth. She also wanted to know if Belle was Ariels best friend, which they are BTW. Bella's best friend loves Ariel the most so... hey, it matters!

DSC02277.jpg

Aurora was next and Bella liked her pink dress. "Is it your favorite color, because it's my favorite? Do you know Tinkerbell? Tell her I lost my tooth"

DSC02279.jpg

I think Jasmine was next, who is one of my favorites. It's hard to believe how perfect these princesses are! All the mannerisms and what they say are just great! Please, let Tink know.

DSC02281.jpg

Silja, our waitress came over to check on us and Bella had been asking me how she talks in her language so I told her to ask. Austen gode means how are you in Norwegian. We chatted for a few and I took a pic of them.

DSC02278.jpg

Bella went to the bathroom and while she was gone Alice popped her head around the pillar and gave me a snotty look :snooty: when I told her to come back. Whatevs. When she came back to our table she just kept saying "that's curious". Listen, just sign the mask, you're not a real princess anyways. NO FLAMES!!!!

DSC02282.jpg

Silja brought us a plate of desserts that were to DIE! :cloud9: I loved the rice cream which was a creamy rice pudding.

DSC02280.jpg

We left here and went back to Mexico to do the Grand Fiesta boat ride. So cute, corny, but cute! Bella wanted to come back and take Pierre and Cooper on it. Will they???? Stay tuned. Off to use our FP for Test Track. Bella was given the red time card and we walked right into where the movie is shown. Neither of us had been on it so we were asking around how it was and the little boy next to us in line had JUST gotten off so we figured it couldn't be too bad. Everyone coming off the ride seemed pretty stoked. We hopped in front and took off. I LOVED THIS RIDE!!!!!! :car: It was probably my favorite thing I did all week (besides Soarin')

DSC02283.jpg

S'up homies?

DSC02284.jpg

We hit up Club Cool, she loved the soda there, and went over to the Land to go on Soarin'. The wait was 50 mins. and no FP were left. I let her do the Kidcot stop there and she talked the guys ear off. Seriously. She had a slight meltdown when I wouldn't wait in the line, I don't think she realizes quite how long 50 minutes is. That's like a couple of Hannah Montana episodes, Bell. Now she got it. I wanted to stay for Illuminations but Bella doesn't like fireworks so she was refusing. She wanted to go into Mousegear. Surprise. I bribed her with candy and that worked. Bob called me from Downtown Disney. He couldn't find Pierre. Remember me saying he wanders off? Don't quite know how I'm suppposed to fix the situation but I'll try calling Pierre. No luck getting through but Bob calls back 10 mins later having located him. We walked halfway down the bridge and sat down. Bella with her candy bag.

DSC02287.jpg

We watched the first few minutes but weren't close enough to see what was going on in the water so we left. Didn't want to deal with a crazy :crowded: bus situation. When we were on the bus Bella talked the WHOLE way back. I was seriously 2 seconds away from telling her to shut up. You know when you've had a busy day and want to wind down but there's that constant noise that keeps you from it. Yep. On the other hand, I will tell you that I thoroughly enjoyed spending the week with her and seeing how her personality has grown. She's very funny which she gets from Pierre, sarcastic (in a good way) and smart. I don't know, I can't really describe it but I saw her in a totally different light and it's VERY COOL! :thumbsup2

We beat the boys back to the hotel and when they got back Cooper was bouncing off the walls. He had the BEST time EVA and spent the next half hour busting out some Cirque moves. He especially loves the clown who is on the logo and spent the rest of the week walking like he does.

up next: Bob leaves..... or does he??????? Animal Kingdom!

sounds like a fun night for princesses.

your little acrobat sounds like he had a great time too.

:thumbsup2

Yep same exact tooth! Weird! Heath didnt get no glow shisnit though:headache: I guess I would have needed to tell the waiter for that to happen huh?:lmao: Ohwell!!!

The princess meal looks like alot of fun-- I may have to do that sometime--even if its bymyself cause yOU KNOW my boys are not going to do that:rotfl:
How sweet that belle wanted tink to know about her tooth:cutie: Thats too cute!!

off to work....but had to take one more looking at sleeping bob and pierre....to start off my day right:rotfl2:

Great updates. Nice bonding time.

will come back later and comment more after i get home from work....

Still laughing....
:lmao:

Lovin' your updates Leyla. And you are absolutely right about both Test Track and Soarin'. I'm not a big (no comments from the peanut gallery here) exciting ride person, but Test Track was absolutely awesome - very well done! Oh, and no fast pass needed. I hate to say it, but check in with Abby, and can you say Dream Team?

Like you, we tried to eat things that we would not normally eat, or have access to, and were very pleased that we did. Have read many negative dining reviews on the DIS, but like your experiences, we had an awesome array of delicious dishes, and I am no stranger to good food. It's fun following your trip with you, and I love your pace!

I'm excited for my trip at Asherkus now!

Today is Sunday the 23rd which is also my sister's 30 birthday :cake: and she's still stuck in the hospital. Little prob with the c-sect but it's all good. I told her to have the nurses keep the baby at night and get some spoiling, which she won't get a home. As far as not getting up at night goes, I mean. She sends more pics and that baby is SO darn cute!

We had planned on going to OPR for some breakfast but Bob was SO slow getting his bag packed. He had to be at the Customs House by 9:15 am and didn't want to leave. We didn't want him to go either but he wanted to see his new grandson. He ended up having go to straight to the CH and me and the kids went with him. I was worried about him not having eaten but he doesn't usually have brekkies until 11 anyways. He did very well, diabetically speaking, while we were away. He does bust out the insulin and inject in front of everyone though. That really bothers Pierre (minimed pump for 8 years now) because when he injected he was always very discreet but that ain't Bob's way. Isn't this bus neat. Crush totally busted Bob's b*lls so I had to get a pic of them.

DSC02288.jpg

A couple pics before leaving. Cooper was having a "moment" so no pics of him.

DSC02289.jpg

DSC02290.jpg

We gave him hugs goodbye and he told me what a great time he had and didn't want to leave. I nearly cried. Sniff. I'm so glad he got to see what life is like outside of home and what a FAMILY vacay is. I think it helped in his desicion to sell his pizza shop and retire which we ALL desperately want him to do. :offtopic: For the last couple of years he's been trying to get himself organized to have his Mom and sister come to the USA for a visit and last year I took over the paperwork since he's a scatter brain. We sent everything and more over with a letter begging the US Embassy to allow them here for a short visit as they haven't seen him in 26 years. They finally had an appointment yesterday and the family flew to Dubai (closest US embassy to them as there isn't one in Iran) spending $10,000 total. They were at the Embassy less then 5 mintues and were disapproved on the basis that they might stay here. Despite having their entire lives and family in Iran who they would NEVER leave. Needless to say Bob is pretty upset right now. they suggested he get his stuff in order and have all of us go to Dubai next year. So, we'll see but if you can all say a little prayer for him... Back to my story!

We met Peeps at OPR and grabbed some food beofre getting on the bus to Animal Kingdom. Attention, sleepy pic ahead!

DSC02291.jpg

We got there a little after 10 and it was pretty busy going in. Much busier than I thought it would be. I raced my tush over to grab some Safari FP's and Pierre took the kids to the bathroom and met me in front of It's a Bug's Life.

DSC02292.jpg

We weren't sure if Cooper could handle it because he has a VERY disturbing bug paranoia/phobia. BAD! His bus driver had to stop the bus one day because of a fly. He was going to brave it though. He kept telling himself it's all pretend and was being silly while we waited for the doors to open. Diggin' the shades dude!

DSC02293.jpg

He did great, slid the glasses down a couple of times and did ask to leave once but stuck it out. When we left I booked it over to Kali River Rapids since I could get more FP's. Man, was I getting a workout with all the speedwalking and people dodging! I had told Pierre to meet me over at Safari but of course he wasn't there. :sad2: Donald was trying to bust out and I called him a bunch of times, probably a good thing he didn't anwser. By the time I saw him Cinderella made an appearance. They grabbed something to drink on the way over. Well, it WAS hot so... We got in line for the Safari, Cooper had really been looking forward to this one! We had to wait a while here, maybe 15 mins, despite being right in front, they said an animal was blocking the road. Yeah, right, I had seen a DT member earlier and was sure they were giving someone the Castle Suite. Jerks.

DSC02294.jpg

After the Safari which we all enjoyed we hit up Flame Tree BBQ. Pierre got in the line, which was pretty long and we went to get a table. We were lucky enough to get one right on the water, under the awning and waited FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went back 2 or 3 times to see what the holdup was. This was the longest we waited for anything the whole week, and it was a counter service no less! Bella had to drink a couple of ketchup packets she was so hungry!

DSC02304.jpg

I had to do some beggin' for this pic.

DSC02309.jpg

They watched Expedition Everest the whole time and screetched everytime it went down. I'm sure our table mates LOVED that! Mickey and the gang sailed past which was pretty cool and kept the kids occupied for a few.

DSC02310.jpg

I went up 1 last time to check on Pierre and he had just gotten the stuff. Good thing I went, he had 2 big trays and drinks with no lids. I ate the BBQ chicken salad and it was ehhh. Not bad but not great, Pierre had ribs which he really enjoyed and knocked back 5 units. ADDING IN: I found out Rentayenta Jenny saw me in line but didn't realize it was me until after I walked away. It clicked when she saw Pierre's tatoo with the kids name on it. So bummed we didn't meet!

After we filled up we headed over to KRR. Well, I FP EE for Bella and Pierre and met them there. Guess who got there first? If you said Pierre you are WRONG! I beat them by 5 minutes. Got right through again, no pics as I left it in the stroller since this was a water ride. AND thank goodness I did. You know what's coming, right? I got THE seat. You know the one that gets totally bombed with water. I was completley soaked but who cares, the ride was fun! Waaaaay to short though, they need to do sunthin' bout that.

Despite grumbling from Bella she was dragged into Festival Of The Lion King. This was the one thing I REALLY wanted to do at AK so she was gonna have to suck it up! They sat in the front row and we were right behind them. LOVED IT!

DSC02311.jpg

DSC02312.jpg

Cooper was still on his Cirque high so I knew he'd love it and he did. They both did! when we left Pierre went to get icecreams for them while I got them in line for Minnie ::MinnieMo , Bella had wanted to meet her all week. The line moved really fast so we got to meet Donald :donald: too.

DSC02318.jpg

DSC02320.jpg

Pierre and Bella had a date with the Yeti and Cooper spied Stitch so we stayed and they left for the mountain.

DSC02321.jpg

After Stitch :stitch: hugged him too tight we made our way to EE and waited for them. It started to rain so I pulled the poncho over the stroller and we went inside. We had a laugh over the pictures from the ride and watched the people coming off. We spied Pierre and Bella and they had bought their photo. It is GREAT! My camera is acting up again so I can't snap a pic of the pic but will as soon as I can. We headed back to CBR after this to relax before our dinner ressies.

that's it for today, I think. I want to install the video info and try to put up a video of Bella's dinner antics. Not gonna tell ya where we ate, you gotta stay tuned!

So glad I made an ADR at Sci Fi.

Great update.

:thumbsup2

You'll love it! Totally jel that you are going again so soon!

Great update!

Love the one of the ball! Everybody has to bounch that ball! Everyone!

sounds like a fun night for princesses.

your little acrobat sounds like he had a great time too.

:thumbsup2

It was a good night all around!

Yep same exact tooth! Weird! Heath didnt get no glow shisnit though:headache: I guess I would have needed to tell the waiter for that to happen huh?:lmao: Ohwell!!!

Keep reading Jordan, I threw another one in there! See ya later!

Thanks Fred! I spent all morning working on updates and cleaning so now I have 2 hours to catch up on everyone elses reports. TT was FAB! I'm glad you loved it too! I know, I read alot of bad food reviews too but I'm not that picky, there was very little if anything I didn't like. Thanks for diggin the pace!

I'm excited for my trip at Asherkus now!
You'll love it! Like I said the Princesses were a little speedy but overall great!

very nice update, hope everything works out with his family and pizza joint. maybe you guys will get a trip to disney with everyone organized somehow.

I am guessing you ate at chef mickeys next.

Thanks Dan! I wish but it doesn't look like they can ever come to America, they can apply for Visa's again in 6 months but who wants to spend $10,000 again to be denied in minutes :confused3 Dubai sounds very interesting and I'm always up for traveling (as long as Bob foots the bill for that one) Not Chef Mickeys....

I am SO annoyed right now! I thought my video camera was capable of uploading videos to my pc but it doesn't. Only the still images. GRRRRGRGRGRGR grumble grumble. I'm going to try and figure it out and maybe do another installment today!

great update and pics. :thumbsup2

sad Bob had to go home. Really sad they spent all that money to be denied in minutes. You should look into going to Dubai. I would love tog o but none of my friends want to.

Kali is really too short they should do something about it.

I'm really enjoying your report. It looks like we were there the same time as you--we checked into CBR on 9/21.

GREAT REPORT! You have such a nice family. I'm so sorry about Bob's immigration woes. I do not understand our country's immigration policy - I was reading today that the wives of some soldiers serving in Iraq were being deported! Anyway, I hope at least that the Disney magic makes him feel better!

I love your writing style and enthusiasm!! Can't wait to read more!!!
