I read today that the Ducks are favored to win the cup again next year, the first time since 1998 for a back to back. Coooooool.
Jiggy and Andy Mac brought the cup to my husband's work one day so we got to see it there.

Hi Tracy! The more I look at the color the cooler I think it is. Welllll, we could always get together when you visit your MIL!
He got a slight black eye but I think she ended up crying more than he did when she saw his eye yesterday morning. He always wants to use his Power Ranger moves on everyone 
, so annoying sometimes.... (he's in his room right now for pulling another punching move on Bella, like he didn't remember what happened the other night??!!) If it's not that it's his Cirque Du Soleil moves which he's actually pretty good at. He did a front handspring yesterday, luckily gymnastics starts up again in a couple of weeks, he loves it! I'm hoping he can get in the 5 year old class bc the 3-4 is too babyish for him (he'll be 5 in Dec). It's the same instructor he's had so she will probably let him go up a level.
Good score! Everywhere is having such good clearance sales of summer stuff! I MUST stop spending my money!!!!!! I got my rewards card in the mail and when I cash in all my change I'm going to get the money put on a Disney gift card so Pierre doesn't spend it all in the airport bar

Here's how to do the color. I did it on the side but you can place it where ever she thinks would look good. If she's going to wear it up alot and not brave enough for the front, the side would look cool. Need: color, comb with a metal or plastic tail, piece of foil (4"wide, 6"long) and a brush to apply color.
Section the hair like so:
Using the tail end of comb "slice out" a VERY thin section of hair:
Fold edge of foil over comb and place under thin piece of hair you just sectioned out, shove it tight in there:
Apply color over hair onto foil (no pic) then fold over once and then again, turn in edges:
Let color process then remove foil and following color instructions!

I'm a little late on the Cup pics, but can I still play?
In grad school I worked for the Toledo Storm (affiliate of the Red Wings) and we got the cup at one of our games ... my job was to hang out with the Cup for the evening and make sure people in line were behaving, not trying to steal the cup, etc....

Mike, one of the cup guardians ... he had so many neat stories ( during periods traffic was slow so I got to talk to him alot during the game ) He (or one of the other guardians accompanies the cup at all times, including to the home visits the players take it on during the summer )
I love that there are so many hockey fans on this thread!
and it's great that Cooper's in gymnastics, I always wanted to take gymnastics - maybe he'll be IN cirque one day!
