Hannah Montana Movie Review

With four girls big time into Hannah Montana, I naturally went with them to see the new Hannah Montana movie on Friday.

I was very impressed. It was a really good movie. It had a good story. Nicely acted. It was funny, cute, and at times touching. An impressive big step up from the show (which I usually enjoy watching with my girls, but wouldn't be watching it on my own).

I am curious if any other parents saw the movie with their kids this weekend? What did you think?

I saw maybe 3/4 of the movie. My 6 y.o. son was excited to see it, but I think it moved a bit too slowly for him. I think he expected a 30 minute show. He enjoys the slapstick, so he liked those parts, but there wasn't enough just silliness for him. I was enjoying it, but he was ready to go 20 minutes into it. I made him stay a bit longer since I paid $20 to take him! We left at the climax. I would love to know how it ended. (feel free to pm me )

I took my soon to be 5 year old. She loved it! In fact, yesterday I asked her if she wanted to watch the show on TV and she said "There is a show??"

She loves HM and I was shocked she did not know!

It's good to read your reviews! My girls want to go see it - and I'm planning to take them in a week or so as a treat for DD6's birthday. She L-O-V-E-S going to the movie theatre (we don't go much - the last movie they saw was Enchanted).

I think the movie looks really cute and fun.

My older daughter hates Hannah Montana and my younger one won't admit to liking it. Well, both girls were impressed by the movie and said it ended up being a lot better than they thought it would be.
