We're owners at BWV and AKV, but we'll be staying at SSR on our next trip unless one of our waitlists comes through. How hard is it to go hang out at another resort for the afternoon/evening? We love the BW, and are thinking about going over to the pool in the afternoon and then hanging out on the BW for a while. We will have a car.

Can we just drive over there? If so, where can we park? Normal self park, as if we were staying at the resort, or is there another lot for people just going to the Boardwalk?

You can swim there as long as pool hopping isn't blacked out during that time. You can valet park using your member card, but you still have to tip.

Yes, it is easy to go hang out at other resorts. Just tell the guard that you want to visit the resort and you will be let in.

A couple weeks ago we spent one night at a hotel by the airport before our trip to VB. We decided to go spend some time on the boardwalk. It was no problem. We used the valet parking with our DVC card. If self parking had looked not crowded, we would have self parked.

We had no problem visiting the Poly, Yacht Club, and Coronado Springs on our recent trip; we just showed our room key and photo ID at the guard shack at each resort entry.

Have fun at the BW! You might find you like SSR, though. It was our first time there and we found it to be rather nice. (I missed my HUGE OKW room, though.)
