HANDY OR HOT????? Sorta Poll

Just a question for everyone---GUYS MAINLY THOUGH!

Yesterday I drove my DH's car to drop my mom off at work and noticed it was running on empty so I stopped to fill it- then the darn car wouldn't start. I called DH who came in my truck to jump it and it was a no go (we've know for awhile it needed a new battery) so we came back home and DH went to bed (he works 3rd shift) and I loaded up the kids and the tools I would need and drove to Autozone where I bought a new battery and new cables.

I get back to his car,change the battery but can't change the cables because his has 2 connectors and the ones I bought only had one so I went back to Autozone and they only sell the one connector kind,so the guy behind the counter says smirkingly "Well you could change just the clamps" so I said "Ok lets return these and get the clamps" as I'm leaving I notice the guy pointing and snickering to the other worker and I just smiled and waved,loaded the kids back in my truck and headed down to DH's car

Now for those who aren't sure what I'm talking about-On top of the battery is 2 posts,one for negative and one for positive and on these go the cables well DH's were so corroded they couldn't transfer the juice and needed to be replaced but since I couldn't get the right kind of cables I had to change just the clamps SO what I had to do was remove the old clamps from his wiring,strip the wire back to expose enough of the copper wiring to connect it into the new clamp then put the new clamps onto the terminals--Well I did it in under an hour in a parking lot with kids running around that needed to have an eye kept on them in 96+ heat.

When I was done I drove DH's car to Autozone to turn in his old battery for the core charge and the guy first asked if there was anyone he could call for me and I told him "No, it's done" and he looked out the window then back at me and smiled and said "Well aren't you just car whiz"

When DH woke up later on he just gave me the look like "Am I good" and I told him "Yeah babe,Aren't you glad now you married for HANDY instead of HOT?"

And he said "I got both"

SO my question is this: GUYS=Would you marry someone who was handy or hot, You can't have both---Which would you choose??

And ladies= Which do you see yourself as? And do you wish it could be the other?

I can close my eyes and make it as hot as he!! .

But I can't close my eyes and have my car fixed while I sleep or work.

I'm not that handy but I'm a damn fine cook if that counts.

Although, Autozone would have installed that free of charge for you - that's part of their services. They installed mine and changed my posts two months ago.

Nothing wrong with that!! My dad always had me and my sister outside with him when he was working on cars and taught us a lot! I was the only 12 year old who knew how to change brake pads and bleed the air out and I showed DH how to do it when I was 7 months pregnant with DD4!

My sister even though she knows how to work on cars won't because she figures she's married now and it is up to her husband-be it whether he does it himself or he pays for it.
