Handicap parking permit

I have an Ontario handicap parking permit. I have seen info saying I can park in handicap in FL and some saying you can on hotel lots as they are private property. Anyone know for sure?

We have never had an issue with using our parking permit. Never had any one question it, never gotten a ticket using it!

I should add we have used at Disney, at various shopping malls in Florida and at public beach parking .

Does anyone know if the Ontario accessible parking pass is recognized in Michigan? I'm going Black Friday shopping but nervous about parking (that's if we can even find a spot!)
