Hello! My family is coming for a trip this weekend and I have some parking questions.

We are so excited to stay that the GCH and I've heard that parking is across the street. However, we have a person in our group in an ECV. Is there handicap parking at the hotel available for him? Or does everyone park across the street?

My aunt and uncle (the individual in the ecv) will be driving and has handicap plates. But does that even matter?

The only vechile that is allowed to park in "handicapped" must have a disabled parking pass displayed or a disabled license plate. It doesn't matter how many vechiles you have if they don't have either one of those then they can't park there. Oh, and the person that was issued the placard must be with you of course :) hope this answers your question

Perfect! Thank you!

They are driving and the rest of us are flying, so they'll be the only ones with a car. I was hoping there was parking at the hotel, opposed to across the street. That will makes things 1000% easier for them. They do have the handicap plates and placard. Do they need to call the hotel ahead of time, or when they pull into the porte cochere, will they just work things out there?

Thanks for the help.

Disabled parking spaces are on a first come first served basis. They can't be held. If push comes to shove you can always just valet the car so they don't have to walk too far. You should be fine either way. Have a fun trip!
